I had the same problem with my 2006 balster i couldnt figure it out so i took it in they said it had junk in the carb and fowled plugs but i know it wasnt that because i checked all that imo it could have either sucked in a reed or maybe blow by do a compression test and goodluck.

Hey man now that you have it home the smart thing to do would be take the carbe off and clean them even if they dont look like they need cleaning same with the air filters and you might even change the tranny oil and it couldnt hurt anything to go ahead and atleast take the head off and take a quick look at the pistons and maybe do a compression test and welcome to bhq thses guys on here know there shit and wont steer you wrong hope you love your banshee.

Hey man im 17 I got my first banshee when I was 16 all I can is I would go with as close to stock as you can so then you can save up and build it your way and be proud of something that is all yours and something you worked hard for.
