  1. Around 120
  2. You will need to list your elevation to get help with your jetting. As far as the performance issue, it sounds like both banshees I have owned ,and every banshee i have ever rode they have no bottom end to speak of.
  3. I had both, and I like the sound and look of the Bills but I think the fmf may pull a little better imo.
  4. Thanks, I picked up 300- 330 today hoped i was on the right track.
  5. i have a 89 banshee with stock carbs tors removed, fast play dune port, kn with no lid on air box, cool head 20cc domes, timing plate +4, and fmf gold series pipes. I had 280 mains in it before, when all I had was the pipes and kn on it and it seemed to be about right. I have put 27.5 pilots in, and need help picking a main to start with. My elevation is about 1000ft. Thanks
  6. I think this website is geared for men who like banshees and girls so I wouldn't sweat it, you ain't offending me. Keep the pics comin
  7. 93 will be fine , you should be fine with the timing to.
  8. Keep it you will never find anything more fun to ride when its running good
  9. Thanks for the help Mike
  10. Fresh rebuild on 89 banshee at 1000ft. Mods are k&n no lid, fmf pipes, cool head 20cc domes , timing plate +4, dune play port, tors removed. Mains are 300 and pilots are 27.5 air mixture 1.5 out. My problem is at quarter throttle it is kind of breaking up and not running smooth, but when you open it up it runs strong. My question is are the mains to big or do i need to try to turn my air mixture out to see if that helps. I know I'm going to have to play with it, but would like to get a good starting point. Thanks
  11. I don't think its trans fluid I think it is more than likely my carbs not being perfect . I have no smell, and it seems to clear up after its been running for a few.
  12. You better get some help on here Mike, because you might get smoked by me if you don't lol Eric
  13. I'm getting more smoke out of one pipe than the other. Its not like a head gasket , more like typical two stroke smoke. It is usually right when it starts up and then it kind of goes away. Like I said its not enough to really worry me, just kind of curious of what it might be. It is the clutch side if that helps at all. It has done it ever since I have had it before and after a rebuild. The bike runs great and like I said once it runs for a while the smoke seems to even out.
  14. Looks like FMF to me but not sure
  15. I'm rebuilding a motor with dune/play,cool head 20cc domes, chariot timing plate 4+, kn no lid. stock carbs. My question is do i need aftermarket reeds, and what will they do ,more power or smoother throttle? How much of a performance difference will i notice over stock. I mostly ride trails and do a little drag.
  16. i know they wont be the best option ,but will fmf gold series pull good with dune/play port?
  17. I will enjoy it, I enjoyed it before just wanted a little more power
  18. Just put a dune/play port set of cylinders done by fast racing, cool head with 20cc domes and a chariot timing plate at 4 degrees. I have fmf pipes and know i could do better with other pipes ,but didn't plan on doing all this I just got offered a hell of a deal. How much hp do you guys think i will gain.
