  1. I just switched over to pods, but i had the same problem when i was running an air box with no lid. I do not go through any deep puddles that would get water up to the pods im very careful about that. I think im going to get some silicone out and work on some things. Thanks guys
  2. silicone on top of the gasket or in place of the gasket?
  3. The last couple times i have been out and go through muck or puddles water is getting to my stator . I have checked the seal around he cover and went over everything i can think off. After i go through water it has a dead spot right off idle and kind of breaks up until it hits the power band and then runs fine. It will run this way until it dries out. Is there anything im over looking it seems to be sealed up pretty good. Thanks,
  4. My link Very Nice bike, posting for my brother in law
  5. I just smoked a modded 450 last night. It was piped, ported and was on race gas. He weighed 160 I way 240. Mods on my bike T5's, Fast dune port, 28pwk's, pro design cool head 20 cc domes, stock cages aftermarket reeds, timing plate plus 4, pod filters. He could hang pretty good until fourth gear but from then on I put about ten bikes on him. The 450 seemed really quick but lacks top end imo.
  6. Yes you would notice a performance difference. I would call toomey and tell them what work you want to do and see what they say. I always hear T5 is better for engine mods but I'm sure toomey could tell you why that is.
  7. They will be fine. You may not gain as much as you would with other pipes, but you wont notice if you never switch pipes
  8. If you are able to race on the road. Banshees are hard to beat when they get traction.
  9. I went from fattys to t5 pipes. I was thinking I might need to go up a jet size. What do you guys think. Thanks,
  10. Looking to buy a set of used after market J arms.
  11. Bought some pipes of invader, and would buy off him again for sure. We had a mix up in shipping between me and ugottalovewagner and the issue was resolved very quickly. Both are stand up guys and would not hesitate to deal with either in the future.
  12. payment sent for pipes
  13. email reply sent
  14. wow that must be sixth gear lol
  15. I would like to see pics of pipes [email protected] thanks
  16. check out top speedMy link
  17. elevation is 1000ft
  18. I just picked up a set of 28mm pwk's. I have never ran anything but stock carbs, so my question is what kind of performance gains kind of performance gains can I expect. I have the following mods Fmf fattys, cool head 20cc domes, timing plate at + 4, fast play/dune port, stock cages boyesen reeds. I will be running pods on this setup ,so if anyone wants to throw in a starting point for jets it would help a lot. Thanks
  19. mine was doing the same thing synch your carbs and it should fix it. I picked up a synch tool from fast racing and it works great.
  20. Yeah I would say so i would maybe start at 300 but i think you will end up around 280 or 290
  21. Its hard describe the banshee power band , but violent is pretty good. As far as your oil mixture I think most will tell you 32:1 to 40:1
  22. My bike has always smoked more out of the clutch side when it is cold , and kind of clears up as you run it. I would not worry about it if the carbs are synched, unless it is white like a head gasket, or smells funny like tranny fluid is being sucked in (bad crank seal). As far as the air screws I have always kept them the same .
  23. Clockwise is richer on the air fuel. Sounds like your carbs are out of synch. My bike was doing the same thing (smoking out of one pipe) when i got it, the best way to synch your carbs is with a snail tool. I got mine from F.A.S.T. Racing , they are like 50 bucks but you can get your carbs perfect. If you don't have a boost bottle, i would not buy one they don't really do anything. Last I run Klotz tranny oil and 2cycle mix but its more of a personal preference.
