No, but I bought their coil the other week.
-
I've ran 93 octane for over a year, no problems, with a stock head and minimal upgrades.
-
I wanted to take mine off just to piss off the neighbors, but I guess that wouldn't be a good idea.
-
I'm pretty sure it causing a sputter/miss. Buddy had a cracked petal and it acted up until he replaced it. And yeah, you should replace it.
-
My buddy has a Trinity 2 into 1, he jumps me a little off the start and I steady pull away 4th and up. Bikes have about the same mods.
-
Think about VForce 3 cages, can't get much better than those. Although they are a little more pricey.

Same, I hate it with all the loose wiring. Looks so cleaner. HOW.

Seriously, how embarrassing.

Hey all, my left intake boot is leaking gas and sucking air, so I'm thinking about buying the Chariot billet intake manifolds. They have a built in crossover as well, so I could eliminate the boost bottle I have, which has been bugging me anyway. Since I need the boots and these come with it, I'm thinking about putting the extra money down to get this whole new intake. Just looking for any input on these things, are they worth the 142$? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Billet-Intakes-26-36-carb-Crossover-VForce-3-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem41518102afQQitemZ280540283567QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Thanks all!

Okay so today I looked over carb boots, intake and reeds and what not. Nothing appeared to be cracked but I did replace the gasket on the left side since it did appear to have shit leaking out of it. Put it all back together and still isn't running right. I kept it WOT sounds like it's loaded up really bad brought it back changed plugs and it seemed to run ALOT better than it did, but i still noticed a small miss in it. Let it cool off again for about 30 minutes took another ride on it and it's acting up and missing terribly. WTFF??

Hey guys, my banshee hasn't been acting right lately. At first we thought the coil went bad on it, so I bought a new one and put on it. Same problem. At WOT in any gear, it misses and sputters. And it's running hot really quick. Compression was 120 in both sides. My left plug is way lean compared to my right. What's the deal? It's a 2001 and has T5's, VF3's, K&N no lid, and the infamous boost bottle (came with it, going to get a stock crossover soon). Thanks for any help.

Okay banshee wasn't acting completely right one day. It kept sputtering. So today I checked compression which was about 110 (the engine was still warm, I had rode it about 20 minutes before) on both cylinders. The spark plugs were very different, one was a a really light brown and the other was black. My plugs are usually black, they never have been brown before. Also, when I pulled the plugs out smoke was coming out of the left cylinder, which was the one with the light colored plug. The primary coil ohm reading was a 0.4 - 0.5 (the book calls for .28-.38) I didn't even get a reading off the secondary? My question is first are these related problems? Is the coil bad? And if it is would that cause the plugs to be different and smoke to come out of the left cylinder? I had been riding about 10-20 minutes before I pulled the plugs so the engine was still warm. HELP PLEASE!

I have VForce 3's and T5's on it now. K & N with airbox lid removed. I can do the assembly myself.

What's up everyone. I picked up a stock banshee last year in October and I'll say there is nothing like it. I rode a 450r before, and sold it and picked this up. Anyways, I'm looking to rebuild it here soon. And I was looking for more power (4mm crank) for mostly dragging. Any input? Thanks.

So I was riding my 01 banshee for about 10 minutes the other day, had it running about halfway through 6th. It seemed to me like it was running fine. So I go to pull it back in the garage and boom. Wheels like up, and I can't get it in or out of gear. We pull the engine and transmission all off and look at it and the back right gear (if your rods are facing you) has one tooth that is bent completely sideways. I have no idea how it didn't break or have any idea how it happened. But the question I have to you guys is to what I should do. It didn't bend for no reason, should I buy a whole new transmission or replace the bad cog?

Carbs leak out of the overflow

I don't know much about it, but I had the same problem and someone told me my float was sticking. Just a thought. -
Hey guys. I just picked up a 2001 Banshee yesterday, and have a coupole of questions. Has Toomey T5's on it and a boost bottle. Other than that it's pretty much stock. First, it will not idle cold or warm. Is this because of the idle not being set right? Second, I noticed that while we were riding, it was smoking very little and sometimes out of only the right pipe. Anyone got any ideas on this? I mixed with a 32:1 ratio, should I maybe change it? Thanks.

Ok guys I had a topic on here about a week ago and I think we got that problem fixed. It's running ALOT better now and actually sounds like it should. It starts up fine when cold, but once it gets warm after riding it for about 10 minutes or so it shuts off when left idling, and is a pain to start back. Usually we can't start it back unless we push start it. What could be causing this? We think it's the rings.

Ok I just got back. The main jet is a 180 and the pilot is a 55. Also it's a 94. We also did a compression test and got about 120 pounds in both cylinders. MAIN JET 180 OTHER ONE 55

But like I said I am clueless when it comes to banshees. This is the first one I have ever worked on. All I rode was a 450r.

Ok the only mods we know of are the Toomey pipes, stage IV reeds and there is only one carb on it (i think stock banshees have 2) other than that the guy he got it from has no clue what has been done to it. And right now its about 30 degrees average daily and idk what elevation we are at i live in VA so it couldnt be that high

My uncle picked up this banshee from one of his friends. It hasn't been ridden for a good year at least, and he has had it in his shop for about a week now. It has a few aftermarket parts on it including Toomey T6 pipes and a couple other things I can't remember. Ok so when we first got it, it would not start. We took the Carb out and cleaned it up and what not. There was something clogged in the jet so we got that out and put everything back on. It started up very easily after this, but would idle for about a minute and then turn off. He adjusted the float and it started to idle and rev good and it sounded good. So we let it warm up and took it out to try to ride it. So we take it up the road and started riding it and it doesn't run right. I can't explain really what is going on since I know little about it, but I will try. It sounds like when you get on the throttle and get going that it is missing (?) if that's what you would call it. It doesn't sound like it does when it idles and revving it in neutral. If anyone could help me out here that would be great. Sorry for my inexperience.
