  1. please tell me you only sat that piston on the cases for the pic and that's not how it came apart. clearly that piston is backwards lol
  2. it is "THEIR" and yes for the ones that call it "theirs" it was more than likely assembled by them, modded from how it was sent, or welded by them.
  3. ZACH do you ever stfu, or just run around the site using tapatalk just spouting off bullshit? 1st most cranks sold for a banshee are taiwan even hotrods and wiseco. the only us built cranks are twister to my knowledge. 2nd. cranks/rods fail. the only thing that makes one any different is the person that put it together and the parts they used. some builders use the bronze rods and the bearings supplied and some use their own rod and bearings. are the wang cranks worth a shit just as sent? no, but some builders buy then in pieces and build them into a pretty damn good crank. i run a crank assembled by andy at no limit 64mm stroke. 10 mil for some of you guys that don't know jack shit about a banshee and have beat the living shit out of it and it's still together. i personally don't like the bronze rod at all, but you guys ask for cheap and the builders meet the budget.
  4. start it with the cap off. it's a open system (no thermostat) it will drop once it runs a second and then top it off.
  5. they are using it as a detergent not a octane booster. all home made boosters require a detergent and lube.
  6. don't believe your buddy... Toluene Xylene Methanol or Ethanol those 3 are the easiest for bumping octane lvl's but require more than just dumping in some or a combo of any of those chemicals. search for home made octane boosters and you will find a few different ways.
  7. do you guys mean klotz benol? i was under the impression only a castor based oil would blend with methanol. edit* 20% benol and does blend with methanol my bad guys. i run 20:1 benol
  8. by "cleaned the carbs" did you mean you took both pilot and main out and visually inspected them to make sure they were clear? sitting usually clogs the jets and by using the choke you are adding fuel that the jets cant supply. backfiring can also in tale stuck rings from sitting. or lack of combustion. seen a lot of bikes hang rings after sitting a long time.
  9. too bad they are not chrome. thought about getting rid of my silenced pipes. hmmm
  10. put 27.5's back in at 1.5 turns out. if it need turned out to run clean the pilot is rich, if in needs to go in from 1.5 it's too lean.
  11. bring the owner a goat... instant access
  12. would you fucking stop already?
  13. way better ways to whore up the post counts.... look around. lots of info to read, pictures to comment on etc.
  14. why would you make a trail bike wider?
  15. pual turner mids, stock carbs, and some works shocks set up for a rider 40lbs less than your weight
  16. i have ran both, or i wouldnt have commented.... both last in the front, but both go out quick in the rear if you don't keep the greased or get in water a lot.
  17. service provider, or is it unlocked?
  18. boss and all balls are about the same quality wise
  19. could be ignition, or fuel. a weak stator, or coil could cause it along with the mentioned tors system. i would def have a topend rebuild in mind even if it turns out to be something else. you can test the stator and coil via owners manual.
  20. imo 105lbs at 760ft is too low. the added fuel from choking is increasing ring seal and upping the compression short term.
  21. so now a failed attempt to rip someone is ok as long as the ripoff in the end doesn't happen?
  22. you're not the only one... i purchased one for a customer and he called me the next day saying it rattled apart. i ate the 20 bucks for a new one.... i also destroyed a backing plate polishing one for a customer.
  23. try wiggling the pugs from the stator to the harness since you was messing around in that area when swapping carbs
