The stroke is on the inside of the intake upper side. The numeric Lazer etched on the outside of the cylinder is a serial number from millenium technology the ppl that plated the cylinde. If you call them and give them that number they could tell you when they were plated. Measuring the cylinder total height and bore will tell you what it is. Further more measuring the heights of the ports will tell you what style of porting is done.

They've never been $20 for 2 sets of piston rings. Further more your trying to re ring a set of stock pistons? Are the pistons and bores within spec? Should really check before you waste any $ on rings. It's likely need a bore job and new set of pistons.. the news banshees in the country are about to be 10 years old.

ive took off .100-.120" but with that said taking any material off is a bad idea in my opinion

If the rod has 30L on it then its a vitos 115mm rod. Vitos also never sold a 4mm crank with that rod on it and they didnt make a stock stroke long rod or 7mm. Is it possible its a 10mm crank?

LSOK sand gets rough as fuck after rain and no wind to smooth it out. Case in point this years ride, rain at night would trash then for the the following day. No suspension in the world would make a smooth ride going against the flow of traffic in the conditions im sure you were riding in.

youll have to remove that cylinder to drill and tap for the heli coil

yes, thats what you need and no that isnt a heli coil threads coming out, they are steel. the cast threads crumble like that.

Thats no a helicoil you pulled out, its just the cast threads.... youll need to buy a 8mx1.25 helicoil kit and drill bit, all the info on the size drill bit is on the package. This is a easy fix.

Anyone have any luck with driveline domes???think i wanna stay on pump gas and im in need of 9 degree domes for my build i"ll be using wiseco 573 blaster pistons

If your looking for new heims that will last a long time get them through Aurora, or Midwest Control. I use chromoly heims on the promod builds for front and rear suspension. They can take some serious shock so no doubt they will hold up to a banshee. Heims will be a Smoother articulation than stock, but as stated previously, u will have to make your own bushings/spacers

I'd say theyre shearers or might have been kenny roberts. 1 of the 2 or combo when they were together. Probably built for the cylinders they're on.

In my experience no. Seen quite a few cracked.

I understand, just wanted to make sure that other people dont get carried away on whether that cylinder is junk

the crack I see wont affect anything. its just the aluminum casting. the steel sleeve behind it wont be cracked.

this late in the year the parking lot shouldnt be full, should be no problem to park the jeep and trailer there, unload and drive any or all 3 vehicles in.

The reason ppl bring trucks in is to either get a banshee in that wont pass db test or is a full drag bike.. or you bring chairs and coolers and tools. Not many or any dunes give you the option to be on one of the nicest beaches on the great lakes.

Thats a 13* degree squish angle on the 9768mo6800.
Yes you have to install water jacket plugs, use sealer on the thread as well.
Call Driveline Perfomance 248-793-3535 for domes, we can cut a 13* dome to what ever cc you'd like.
