ASR, Wicked etc sell the replacement parts just have to call them verify size and order them.

Recently bought these off a guy locally to use on my banshee build. Now thinking its not worth the hassle to strip & re-powder them. I think they are ASR. They are missing a couple spacers but can get those online. Also the one spreader bar has some plier marks in it from previous owner. Includes all brand new never used heims see pics. Will ship within the upper 48 for $300 shipped OBO.

Progressive, i had a Erie insurance before that and it was something like $400 a year so I switched after talking to other guys who use progressive and its $154 i think.

Get insurance, i pay about $12 a month for full coverage on my YFZ and that covers it even if I wreck it. And they cover mods as long as I keep receipts.

One simple thing you can do is take the wheels/tires off and store it on blocks of wood and store the tires in an attic or somewhere offsite. That will make it real son of a bitch to move it.

The guy I got the from included all new heims and the original heims that came with them so maybe they are ASR. I will geive them a call. Thanks

I ended up buying these arms from this guy cause they were cheap. The spacers it came with look a lot more like the ASR ones. What i am wondering is if it even matters who i get replacement spacers from cause the distance between the heims I would think is consistent. I am missing the spacer with the red arrow at the bottom of the pic. And the middle spreader bar with the red arrow i would like to replace cause the other one is all boogered up. Any help on whos arms these are or where to get replacement parts would be much appreciated. Thanks!

complete disassembled both carbs and thuroughly cleaned them. put the throttle valves in wrong first time around and it started WO figured out later how those are supposed to be installed, anyway now it runs great! jetting is off a little bit for the winter but all i wanted to do is make sure it runs before tear down. Now its down to frame, suspension and motor. Trying to track down parts for revuild now.

I need help figuring out whose these are because they are missing some spacers. The guy selling them bought them used so he also doesn't know the brand. Your help is appreciated! Thanks.

thanks for the tips. monday i plan to pull the carbs & clean them with air & cleaner. it has a dirty k&n filter, .20 over wiseco pistons std. compression, airbox lid on, fmf gold pipes + powercore 2 silencers and that's about it. its about 30 degrees here right now and im at 600ft. im gonna have to find instructions on jetting this bike, got my yfz jetting changes down to about 10min. Got it for $1000, hope to build it up to a mild dune machine

you cannot ride from campground to the dunes. you have to trailer or you can tow your quad in behind your vehicle. we stay at a "cabin" which is actually a double wide trailer that is within walking distance of the dunes, sleeps up to 10 and rents for $150 a night. Its not pretty but its clean, has safe parking and hot water.

New to the site. Been looking for a banshee for months. Trying to find a good deal on the cheap. Guy posted one on craislist yesterday and i bought it last night. Its a titled 97 in good mechanical condition. everything is tight, frame is straight bearings good etc. only issue is it doesn't idle i have to stay in it to keep it going. it sat for about a year before i got it it idles if i hold in the choke, it screams mid - top and feels great. i was thinking i should drain the old fuel pull & clean the carbs & see if thats the issue. any othe suggestions?

Thanks for your opinions. The seller has 2 raptors and 2 banshee's. He said his 04 banshee looks better but this one runs better. I found his original add on craigslist for $2800 and he is telling me $2000 is his bottom line. I think i will go check it out and as long as it rides good, everything is straight and its only cosmetics I will get it. It also comes with new a-arms for the front that are not installed yet. Only part that sucks is he's 3.5 hrs from me.

I've been tracking down banshee's all week and came across this one. It has a lot of what I want but i can't tell from the pics if its nice cause it looks dirty. He's asking $2000 and is 3 hrs from me. It has new top end with 3 rides on it. Pistons are wiseco. Has +2 rear axle and +2 front arms. Has brand new rear holeshot tires rear. Has FMF fatty pipes, toomey silencers, new chain, new sproket, new rear bearings. He also is including another set of +2 a-arms he bought for it since one on it is welded. Has title and is 2nd owner. He said it runs better than his 04 banshee and welcomes me to come check it out. Would you buy it? I am in Cleveland Ohio and I want a banshee. Looking for something around $1500 - $2000. Needs to have a title if its in ohio or state that requires title. Stock is fine or mildly modded is better. Its really quiet there in early may at beginning of season. You can't drink anytime at the dunes but some buddies just used plastic cups and had a few in the lot with no trouble. A group of us from Ohio are going May 6th - 9th. Should be about 10 os us there.

im gonna go see it tomorrow. Got the guy's ebay name and he has 100% feedback. Also confirmed he builds and sells tuner cars like he said so I am thinking he's been honest with me. Gonna take my trailer and cash so wish me luck!

Talked to the guy for a while today and this is what I now know. I appreciate your input. - Current owner bought it 6-8 mos ago - He put new pistons, pins, rings, gaskets & bearings in it (wiesco std. compression pistons & stock bore) he said less than 10hrs (3 rides at 3hrs) on new top end - Clutch has never been replace but he said it feels good - He agreed to do compression test when I look at it - Frame is straight - No bearings ever replaced - Title is in sellers name - Asking $2200 and is saying bottom line is $2k but i heard a little wiggle room so I think i could go $1800 - $1900 cash.
