Ok! But a 0.012 base gast will increase more squish than a 0.020. I just saw the crank without open the engine and it seems to be fine and I have the same opinion about rod bearings. There are no small pieces from domes or pistons inside the engine and even inside de pipes. I sent a PM to M&M and I am waiting his reply.

Thanks for your reply! I already pull of the cub and right now I am not sure about squish it had because the base gasket is in the trash! about thickness. It is better use 0.022" or 0.012" base gasket?

It shouldn't be... I think that they couldn't sell 98 octans if the fuel doesn't have it.

Those domes are 22cc cub domes and I am using Wiseco 573M06800. The carbs are Keihin PWK39 with pilot jet 55 and main jet 178-180 ( I am not sure until open it ). The base gasket has 0.012" of thickness. It has more 5 degrees timing.

I already pull of the cub and there is no sign of damage on crank, but I will inspect better later. I think today I will have a time to do that.

The plugs you see in the domes are new plugs. They never ran.

Maybe... If you were me, what would you do? New pistons or just tore it a little on the top? About the domes, I will certainly buy a new set.

On both pistons? I would believe on it if it only happend on one cylinder...

98 octane. I didn't measure que compression after building the engine... It it happens to you, what would you do? New domes? New pistons?

I have a Cheetah Cub 421cm3 ( 4mil ), Keihin PKW39 with billet bowls, PowerHead with 22cc dommes, VForce3, 5 degrees timing, Shearer SBIF. Where I live is very close to sea. The elevation is 300feet max. I use 98ron fuel. The temperature is about 25-35 degrees Celsius and atmosphere pressure is 1008mBar. What pilots and mains should I use? May I use 20cc dommes? And 6 degrees timing? Regards.
