  1. Definitely have plenty gas in tank. Mixed fresh gallon. Definitely getting gas to carb. I was thinking about Taking float and fuel valve out and cleaning since I was having overflow problems. Could that be the problem? Also, what about the reeds? Do they go a certain way? I looked and doesn't look like it matters. Slides are definitely in right also.
  2. Yah down to bare frame. Well i'll have to scrape paint off that should give stronger spark. I was thinking I put reeds in wrong. Taking them out and I don't see any difference in how they can go in. They are Delta Force 2 reeds and cage So is there a certain way they need to go in????
  3. Fresh build and when I first started it, it was trying to run but carb started overflowing out side overflow. I took it apart cleaned it out and never got it to try to run yet. I checked spark and it isn't the fattest but it is there. Took other carb off and cleaned and no help. Now it started overflowing out bowl. I have orange and black connections at coil. Is there a ground wire that comes off coil to frame/ground? Well it isn't getting gas. Sprayed carb cleaner just to see and it fired right up. So Y am I not getting gas from carb to cylinder?
  4. Dunno if i'll be able to get a cable tomorrow and I want to see if I can get it fired up. Any problem with going ahead and leaving it like it is for now so I can get it running and swap out cable later on?
  5. I guess I just need a new cable because the ball is in and the washers are on the pusher with the bearing.
  6. Really? Great, can someone let me know for sure. I appreciate it.
  7. Looked in manual and it's in just like pic. In the pic it isn't lined up with the arrow either when putting cases together. It doesn't say nothing about the arrows until you go to adjust it. I have it working now but the only time the arrows are lined up is when you pull the clutch lever on perch. I can see the pressure plate moving when pulling clutch
  8. Yah the ball is in and I installed a pancake bearing also. I am pretty sure it's in how it was when I took it out. The arrows never lined up before. When the clutch lever isn't pulled the metal piece with arrow and cable was at the end of the case pretty much where it is now.
  9. The way it is now the arrows line up when you pull the clutch in. The clutch pusher lever only goes in 1 way correct?
  10. I put new clutch in when I rebuilt motor. I just got the motor installed in the frame and wanted to get clutch adjusted right before put the clutch cover on. I have a manual but I can't seem to get it right the way they describe. The only way I can get any tension on the cable is to screw the screw adjuster on the pressure plate in. Is the push lever supposed to line up with the arrow on the crankcase when the clutch lever on the handlebars is pulled? Need some help, thx. Mike
  11. I'm calling it good then!!!
  12. Came out of my bike and was running fine but when I tore it down I saw that it has excessive rod play. If someone needs a stock crank to rebuild cheap here ya go. Make me an offer.
  13. Need ASAP: axle nuts and washers (not the ones that hold the axle on but the ones that hold the hub on) steering stem nut and washer (bottom of steering stem by tierods) oem exhaust hangers (front) bolts and washers for bottom motor mounts that connect to crankcase (tension rods?) Let me know if you can help out at a fair price. Thx. Mike
  14. PM'd NYUK. Hope he has everything I need,
  15. I thought it was 6psi for 6 minutes?
  16. I had to buy a bolt for the car the other day and Advance had little packages of 1.25 metric bolts. I don't know what grade they are though. Should get me by for now thx again for that post.
  17. Yah I have a Fastenal. Only thing is I don't know what sizes I need. Is there any information anywhere that states the sizes of the hardware used or does anyone know of a link. Don't have the hardware to compare to for sizing. Just saw the post, WOW awesome that's what Ineeded. Appreciate it.
  18. Thanks gentlemen I appreciate the input.
  19. I meant rear axle hub nuts, not axle nuts.
  20. Ya I only have 1 coming out of back also but no T or anything. I have the vent hose off rear and the water pump vent hose. I don't have any running to the front of bike.
  21. I am missing some bolts and such and instead of ordering OEM stuff and getting ripped I am gonna just go to hardware store or Lowes. What I am needing: Axle nuts, engine mount bolts ( the ones that go to underside of crankcase) and the nut that goes to the bottom of steering stem. Some how I came up missing on some hardware. I'm sure my kids know where they went but ain't saying LOL.
  22. Good to go now I checked about 20 minutes later and it lost about 1psi.
  23. I was looking for some OEM parts and looking at the microfiche. At the back of the crankcase where there is a vent and a hose I noticed on the microfiche that there is a T and a couple other hoses off the rear one. I only have the 1 on mine. Also I can't remember where the vent hose from the water pump goes to. Thx. Mike
