  1. Thank you Thank you Thank you for the help! I really appreciate the info and will check out the book. Thanks again
  2. Holy Crap that truck is GORGEOUS!!! Nicely done. - Just a little jealous. LOL
  3. WOW - super nice. Engine is just - wow. Nice.
  4. Keep the shee and get what you want too. Two bikes is better than one right? I personally have a YFZ 450 and like it for the trails, but it is dog slow compared to the shee in the sand. Get what you want, and have fun. I wouldn't say they are better than the banshee's though, just my opinion.
  5. I work in the insurance field (dont throw the book at me) - Progressive or Geico are the ones to start with. They usually have great rates and their claims department are some of the best. Rates vary by state, Cali and Texas are the highest. County you live in (big) factor in the equation, age, tickets, size of engine, mods, any custom/extras you want covered, etc all factor into rate. I personally would have comp and liability on the bike, plus collision. I am insurance poor though, so what do I know. Re-quote all insurance every 6-12 months, most companies change rates every renewal - good or bad.
  6. Verizon. Have had them for several years now, after trying all the others. Trust me..... they always fix the problems IF there is one, and reception, coverage is unbeatable... Go with Verizon... they will have the iPhone soon too.
  7. Nice pics.... Thanks for all the help. I will try to post some pics later on (when it's not freezing) when we go riding.
  8. All trucks have issues.... it is a given. You just have to pick your poision. Personally, I would get the Chevy. Having owned Chevy's and Dodges.... go with the Chevy. Better ride, last just as long if maintained, etc etc. It is really up to your personal preference. Good Luck and let us know what you get!
  9. J.J. Love your pic at the bottom... Nicely done.
  10. Thanks guys for answering my question - I really appreciate it. I have had this damn thing for 4 years now and still learn something new about it everytime I turn it on. I can take really good pictures one day and a month later forget how I did that... LOL Must be a blonde thing. I will play with the ISO settings as I think that is the main issue I have with "noise" causing blurry images. Sounds like I have the right lens for the job, just need to work on it a little more. Guess that is with anything. Thanks again for the responses.... Happy New Year!
  11. I know some of you guys use Canon EOS Digital camera's for some of your pictures... Question is what settings do you use when taking pictures? What lens do you use as well? I have a lens with IS that I havent used yet for taking shee pics, but want to see what best settings are. Manual modes? Apeture settings, etc? Any suggestions appreciated! I have a Canon and when shee is going by at - oh 70 mph- kinda hard to get a good pic. Thanks!!
  12. Try to find another tacoma for sale. You seriously can not beat them. We have had 4 Tacoma's. They are hands down the best "small" truck around. 4x4 always works, no problems. 4 banger or 6 cycl both are good engines. I get 21 miles to gallon with a 4 cycl. 4x4 manual tranny. I have had the 6 cycl 4x4 too and got about 19-20 miles to gallon. I had a friend that owned a Ford Ranger truck... SUCKS The gas. Always small problems with it. Seriously. GO WITH THE YOTA. You will not be displeased. Make sure you check everything out well though. Thing about a Toyota Tacoma, when it goes on sale, it goes fast. Good Luck!
  13. For work truck, get a 5.9 Dodge - for work and comfort, and nice interior - Get a 6.6 Duramax with Allyson Tranny Chevy - Hands down lots better than the Fords. Had both Chevy and Dodge. Chevy is better for comfort and interior, and the transmission is Top Notch. Good Luck!
  14. As the wife of someone that has two shee's and loves riding myself, I can honestly say it is a BLAST!!! Just wish we had more places to ride around here. There is nothing like changing gears and hitting the throttle and going from 0 to 60 in seconds. The vibrations dosn't hurt either If I get to spend a little more time with the hubby AND get to ride a banshee, there is nothing better in the world. Better than sitting at home watching TV. Be thankful they want to go, they could be going shopping with their girlfriends, but instead they will be spending money on your bikes - something you both can enjoy!
  15. TRADE IT NOW! and Congrats!
