Ok guys not defending the smart remarks the seller is making whatsoever but there was life before all the badass cylinders available now. It is pretty easy to come to this displacement as mentioned and not crazy at all.Bansheechick was kicking it for quite awhile with a 417 and making over 100hp.If it is odd to you dig deep there is prolly reason for it, ordering custom pistons,rods,valves,retainers,bla bla bla is not unheard of and alot of the time has to be done in bulk. I know we are not the only ones doing it and has nothing to do with this seller but does have to do with the thread. Dune

On the porting, perhaps contact K&T. I know some of the early Rehr-Morrison heads(umm ,car stuff) i've bought have the porters initials or name on them and not the pretty stamp they use now or their own casting for that matter. just another thought... i'm outa thoughts for now... Dune

I met with him at a local dirt/sand track earlier this year (I think we were supposed to bring our own sand..lol) and seen the times it is turning now with a slight clutch slip and poor track so this year outa be fun to watch. :biggrin: Ummm, there were a couple cubs there as well lol... GLAD this comes to conversation. I like those that can stand out in a crowd and claim something. A 800cc thumper can outrun a 421cub if they do the research and lots of test time to get it right. As soon as someone says "no way"someone is doing it somewhere, some how. I know the times on the XR and it runs very good. Stock Banshee with pipes is pretty accurate from what i'm told by both owners.Umm, but it is a good example of the XR...In action....HP numbers are what you would and would not expect. Whatever...lol...pull up next to it and see!!! Dune
