  1. Getting ready to do the top end .020 over. The bike is mostly stock except for Tommey T6 pipes, K&N Filter w/ open airbox. Question is Wiseco forged or Namura Piston cast piston kit. The difference in price is $50.00 I have used Wiseco is the past, haven't heard anything good or bad about the other. Thanks for you feedback in advance.
  2. I need to get my cylinders bored. This will be the 1st reubild on the motor. Noting blew us, comperession was low on one cylinder. Any suggestions of who to use. I'm just south of Chicago and there aren't a whole lot of places around here. I have already broken them down as well. I saw some online places that will do the work and ship them back. Just not sure who to use. Not building a stroker or anything. Just want a good relible place to do the work. THANKS
  3. I had a bog right off idle so I took off the carbs cleaned them out checked all the settings, sync'd, and adjusted the airscrews. Still I slight bog, but not as bad. Here's the question. If I let it idle for a few seconds and them pop the throttle I get excess white smoke out of the left pipe. Also if I put my hand behind the exhaust at idle the left side doesn't really have much of a pop to it at all, compared to the right side. Any thoughts? I just traded my YZ450 for this and think I got taken! BUt it's mine now and it has to run right.
  4. Any suggestions on what to use to clean up the burrs
  5. I recently got a used 99 Banshee. It runs great except for off idle. I read a few links about the cause. I was thinking the airscrew from what I read. I took the filter off to clean it and I wanted to check to see if both slides where opening at the same time. The good news is there where, the bad, both carb slides are all scratched up. It appears that sand and dirt where getting past the filter and getting into the carbs. What would you suggest? I have other bikes / ATV's in the past and none of the carb slides look like these.
