  1. 300 mains should be fine. I run the same pipes and similar mods, your elevation in Star City AR is 272ft not to much different from where I live . I run 290's on mine and it works fine. Also the pilots 25 or 27.5 should work, you may not even need to change if thats what the bike came with, most stock banshee's come equiped with either one. To change out your mains just remove the 4 bolts on the bottom of the carbs and change the hex brass jet thats the main jet easy to do, hope this helps.
  2. my best advice would be ride it through all the gears get a good feel. if you feel to much power you can always pull the clutch lever and hit your rear breaks no biggie you'll learn the power curve quickly its not hard at all just make sure you where all your safety gear and look out for obstacles.
  3. Good looking out crazycat. Next time i need a clutch i'll hit him up.
  4. Funny you ask the reason i got them was becasue i like night riding at glamis and lets face it the stock lights suck ass BIG TIME! The best way I can describe the stock lights is like riding the dunes with 2 candles for lights freakin dangerous. These are 7inch HIDs and they don't dim when the engine slows down i actually run a battery so i can turn them on without turning on the bike they are similar the the ones the sand rails run. I can see way further ahead and the surrounding area best upgrade i've done IMO.
  5. hey thanks guys i appreciate the feedback. I'm going to order it. i just sent my juggs to get dune/play ported by Kevin at Herr Jugs and well might as well do the clutch too.
  6. hey guys just wondering what you would suggest i do to upgrade my clutch grip while not breaking the pocket too much because being laid off sucks but having a slipping clutch is worse jk. Any suggestions on what parts i would need to replace and which ones i can keep such as plates, fibers, springs etc? thanks
  7. Cool I just got back from Glamis this weekend you'll have a blast. Basics, you'll need a tail light and head light for night riding, a flag, a helmet and only 1 rider per atv no spark arrestor is needed for glamis though and never ride alone!
  8. like invader said clarke tanks are the way to go, of course when you have the money avail. Heres a pic of mine with the clarke tank
  9. I'm on the same boat i can't afford to go balls out right now. I'd suggest the timing plate its a pretty good mod for the money. As far as the desert tank goes, its not ugly at all, i always get compliments on mine. People always trip out and the big plus is i can hang witht the 4 strokes as far as riding goes.
