  1. thanks but judging from this im gonna start of at around 300 and just do a couple plug chops.... the way iv always been told is to get it warm switch out plugs with new ones and just pin it all the way till the top of sixth and kill it and pull in the clutch and then pull the plugs and chop them.. just want to make sure this is right??? and also what do u think my pilot should be???
  2. yeah i run premium gas 32:1 through it right now.... but thanks im just tring to get everything fixed and right before i really ride it to hard.. but im gonna order a rebuild kit for my carbs and some new jets. but today i noticed that i have a boost bottle installed to apparently so i dont know if that would effect it any as well?
  3. yeah well i just bought a tors elimination kit and was going to buy a rebuild kit for my carb but wanted to see if i posibly was going to have to change my jetting..... but my elevation is about 4500 above sea lvl.. couldnt tell u what my temps are though... was planning on gettinng a high flow impeller and some other things to just make sure it stays cool nut any idea what my jetting should be? i just bought it not to long ago so im still kinda learning everything :/
  4. well the bike has pro circuit pipes and silencers, k&n air filters and a klutch kit but it still has the stock carbs on it... but yea i made sure that the tube was in place this morning and it is. so im still kinda stumped and don t know waht the jetting should be... but when i cleaned the carbs it looked like they were 250's
  5. i think one of the main reasons my shee wont start very well is because of the choke.. it looks to me like the rubber seal thing is worn out... so whenever i pull on it and let it go it just pops back closed.... so i was wondering if anybody knows how to fix this or if theres a rebuild kit out there or something??
  6. it idles just fine and runs great other than that and when i get in the very top of sixth it seems to just kinda sputter and loses power at full throttle in sixth.... but starting it is another story :\... it picks and chooses when it just starts right up and other time my foot is sore from kicking so much... i posted a thread on the starting earlier if u maybe want to look at that..
  7. iv noticed when im out riding my banshee it seems to lak power in the bottom of first and a few other gears.. it just kinda seems to bog then it gets to a point and then it freakin screams! just wondering if this is normal??

  9. i have a 87 banshee with PRO CIRCUIT PIPES, K&N AIR FILTER, and a BARNETT CLUTCH KIT and was curious what the jetting should be??? cause i dont feel like having ne thing go wrong..
  10. it seems on my shee when i leave the gas on fo any sorta time it floods itself out and wont start so i have to turn the gas off and kick till she comes to life alittle annoying at times but the main thing is the petcock for the fuel sucks to turn on and off its really stiff and leaks abit. so i was just wondering if there was a rebiuld kit or something or if there were any other solutions out here??

I just recently bought a banshee and for some reason its a real pain to start.... have to kick and kick and kick.... turn off the gas and then kick some more and it will eventually roar to life and just sit and idle and after she gets running its wicked fast! but after its been ridin for abit n get warmed up she starts right up on the first r second kick but once she sits for abit n gets cold its the same thing all over again..... dont really know where to start but would really like to get so it starts right up and it was just ported and polished with new pistons with bout 10 hours on them so should have great compression... so if anybody has a solution it would be grealty appreciated
