Hi BHQ members. Decided to set up the degree wheel again to make sure it was zeroed in correctly and came up with the same figures. Exhaust ports open at 84 deg ATDC Transfer ports open at 122 deg ATDC ?? As for the port mapping, placed the barrels on a flat surface deck down( no head studs ). Cut paper to suit bore diameter, pushed down to be flush with deck and taped in place,then shaded over the ports.Removed paper and measured ports to deck. As some said it would be pipey, and it is, it's all top end. This motor was built for me by a builder in Australia for motor X years ago.Now I ride just for fun. Thats why I would like some stock barrels that havn't been played with and have them ported by a reputable builder in the US, to suit what ever combiation ,pipes,carbs stroke, etc I'd like to run. It's great to be able to communicate with people that know more than me as the ATV market is tiny over here. Appreciate everybody's input and advice. Hi, I have a 64.5 x 54 stroke banshee with DMC916 pipes, coolhead, 21cc domes, .030" base gasket with .040"squish. It was ported by a builder to suit the pipes. Exhaust port opens at 84deg ATDC with an exhaust port scallop of 4deg. Main exhaust port opens at 88deg ATDC. Top of exhaust port to deck is 28mm. Transfer ports open at 122deg ATDC 43.5/44mm to deck. Blow down 38deg. I have mapped the cylinders and attached is a tracing of the actual ports. I didn't like it at first because it's all top end but I learnt how to use the power delivery. Just a flick of the clutch if it falls off the pipe and it explodes into action. I've used it for motor cross, trail and in the dunes. Hope this helps. Any feedback on this porting would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi BHQ members, Can anyone offer some advice on CC'ing pro circuit domes? I have 20cc stamped domes (1 needs replacing) and I want to confirm the actual volume before I buy a new one. I've tried to cc the dome with the plug in and the volume is 23cc. Can someone tell me what's going on and what I need to do? Thanks

Hi, my name is Ritchie and I'm a new member to Banshee HQ and i live in Australia. I have a '99 shee with the usual mods but tame compaired to some of you fella's. My question is to do with lighting upgrades. Iwas planing to use a RS 200W stator till i read some threads about the product, so I followed the advice of some and got a Chariot timing plate. Witch stator is the most reliable RS, RM or Moose 250w. From your threads it seems luck of the draw if you have one and don't have any dramas. I hope you can help Ritchie
