After riding in the dunes you'll never want to ride in dirt again. I'm 10 minutes for canada and only ride in the OR dunes.

Do you think my pilot jets sound about right? Also, I have to keep my thumb on the gas to keep it running and when I let off it dies. Is that an idle adjustment or just another jetting issue?

mods, fmf fattys, ported cylinders, new top end, milled head, k&n, no airbox, jetting, main jet 300, pilot jet is 30, needle in middle position at sea level. Have tried swapping plugs, swapping spark plug wires, have cleaned carbs, have sinked carbs, compression at 150 each cylinder, also haven't noticed any oil or a loss of coolant. I am going to be down in Portland and that weekend visiting family... at least thursday. I'm try to figure out how I can seek out and go ride.

25mph on the beach and if you caught racing you get a drag racing ticket and it goes on your driving record. I think its like a $500 ticket but I could be wrong. Have not been caught yet. Anyone going to go to moses the 7th of novermber? I'm going to try to get my banshee going by then if not I might take my R.

I was hoping not to go that far, but maybe I need to. I know at sand lakes I raced there this summer and would just have to be careful. There would be 20-30 people in that bowl and they would clear when the fuzz would pop up over the hill, and 20 min later every one was racing again. Are there lots of people down at florence during the winter on the weekends?

Saw some utube video of people drag racing with a starting tree at moses lake. Want to know if Anyone has seen that in person, and if the do that year round. I'm going to want to see how my banshee does against other quads, and wanted to know if moses would be my best bet or if I should go to sand lakes?

I going to be in need of some paddle tire. I will have a banshee with pipes and porting and a couple other goodies on in and was wanting to know which and how many paddles to run. I will be riding in the Oregon dunes. Was thinking 22" haulers with a 8" rim 8 paddle? Just wanted to see what everyone else is running.

I'm a new banshee owner and forgive me if I'm asking questions thats been asked a million times. I'm thinking about building my banshee. I currently have fmf pipes and no air box with k and n on the carbs. I was thinking about a timing plate, porting, and milling the head. I'm kinda on a budget, so I need to know the best bang for the buck. Also wanted to hear peoples input on lighting the flywheel and boring carbs. Thanks

I'm go pick up some larger jets. How do I synced the carbs?

I have a 99 banshee. I have a fuel issue somewhere. To start form the beginning my first problem was no spark. I unplugged the tors box form the wiring harness and got spark. Then the next problem was no fuel. I pulled the carbs and cleaned them, put them back in and no luck. I can turn the screw that drains the bowls and fuel comes out. So I know I have fuel to there. When I put a little gas down the carb it would run until for 5 or 10 seconds until it was out of gas. I have fmf pipes, 240 main jet, and k and n filters on the carbs no air box. Thanks

Just picked up a banshee as a project bike. I pulled the head and this is what it looked like. There is pitting on one side of the head. The piston looks like it was just a rough casting because of the uniform pattern. just wanted to know what causes this? Are there any other problems that I need to be looking for? I currently have a trx450r and always wanted a 2-stroke. I now have a chance to pick up a banshee for cheap, but it needs a new top end. Just wanted to know whats all involved with rebuilding one and what else should I look for and what a new to end would cost. I would do all the work myself. Its a 99 and i've heard that they have not chanced much true the years. Your input would be helpful. Thanks
