Ok my bad. . .mayb its not called speed shifting then. . .im talking about a standard banshee tranny. And u change up without using the clutch by slacking the throtle 4 that brief moment when changing

No speed shifting is when u slack the throttle to change. . . .if u wana keep the throtle open while shifting u gana fuck sumthn up, doesnt matter what rpm. The only way u can change under full throtle is by installing a thing "4got what its calld" that cuts ur spark everytime u change.

You can only brake or bend a fork if u force it. . .and it changes easy when u let go of the throttle

Ok when u UP shifting without using the clutch i understand why it dsnt cause damage. . .when the tranny is underpower, the dogs on the gears are mating on one side. If u leave the throttle and slowdown with the motors back pressure the dogs will just mate on the other side. So as u let go of the throttle the dogs actualy dont mate on eather side alowing u to shift. Now when DOWN shifting its basicaly the same thing. . . If ur going around a bend and ur rpm is to low, u slack the throttle thus swoping the mating sides and as the dogs leave the one side and go towards the other side, the downshift is then alowd. .ive noticed the tranny wont shift if its under power. What i do is while im riding and i wana change up, i apply slight pressure to the gear lever, then as soon as i slack the throtle it goes up. .just as smooth as with the clutch. . .same thing with the downshift. . .but the downshift is very smooth . And so much easier. . . While raceing when uve done like 10laps ur prity screwd and when ur in a bend with low revs its dificult to sortof open ur hand and grip the clutch. Especialy when the turns burs has whoops on. . So its easier just slacking throtle and softly applying down pressure on the lever. . .i would like to hear ur guys take on this?

Make sure the float bowls arnt swopd? If u take them off ul c the 1 has a jet in that the other 1 dsnt. . .the one with the jet goes on the left carb with the choke. Then make sure ur slides are in the rite way. . .the cutouts go towards the air filter. Check that ur reeds arnt broken? Do u hav consistant spark? Take both plugs out then put 1 plug in its cap and earth the plug on a head bolt. . Kick the kickstart and check 4 spark. . It should be a purple blue colour. Make sure u geting petrol? Open the screws at the botom of the floats to check if petrol runs out. . .let us know?

It has to ears where it mounts under the seat. . .the 1 is crackd and leaks

Look under the tank towards the radiator. . .on the left there's a little black unit. Unplug it. Thats the throtle overide system. It always gives shit. . Its just there to kill the motor if ur throttle sticks. . . Let us know if that workd

Well im 100% sure thats not ntn. Ntn always has ntn behind the bearing number and the writing is much smaller. That guys probly trying he's luck with u. . . .i hate pple like that. . .well i hope u come rite hey. . Shout if u need any bearing help again:)

Ya i c what u mean. . .did the bearing come in a box or anything. . .i c the marking kinda looks like BTC'S marking. . Wich is a crap make made in china. Although u get snr wich is made in germany wich is very good and has the same markings. . .what u can do is rince the bearing so its dry. Then spin it as fast as u can holding the inner ring. If u feel a slite woble then its cage handling isnt rite. . .although sumtimes u only picup bad cage handling at higher speeds. But btc is crap and ull probly feel a woble. . .how much did u pay 4 them? And what company did u buy them from?

Well according to theory its bad to put a bearing in that can take much more load. The reason is the balls arnt loaded enough and start skidding at high speed. . .its beta to put a bearing in wich load and speed is to speck to what u want. If a bearing neva had a cage in it would pretty much last 4eva. . .but then the balls dont stay spaced. U get a full compliment bearing that has no spaces in between the balls and no cage. . But its 4 slow speed applications. Then u get a max load wich has a groove machined in to fit an extra ball in. . Helping with load. The thing with the cage is when ur crank starts accelerating its not realy the balls that take the punch. . Ok they do but its cause by the cage lag. .the ball accelerate but need to push the cage aswell and thats usualy the problm with bearing faliur. The cage screws up fucking the rest up. So u c a max load has more balls pushing against the cage so according to theory its nt good. . .but it aint realy a problm.Anyways whats the number on that bearing? Is it a BL305NR? Or what? Mayb i can c if its a crap make or what. . .u should put abit of oil on it. Ull notice the cage handling noise will go away. . I think its jst cause its dry

Thats normal. I use2 work at bearing man 4 2years. If u take a brand new bearing and wash all the lubricant out it would do that. Its also common in c3 and c4 bearings. Thats the clearance. The c3 can run at a higher temp than normal and then the c4 evan higher. But they use the c4 4 viabrating applications. But if the bearing feels smooth and dsnt hav any play then its good. It will ofcoarse hav abit of play to aid 4 heat but u know what i mean.

Make sure u neva swopd ur float bowls. . . .the on has a jet inside at the bottom wich goes on the left. It makes the starting inconsistant. . .one day itl start then it wont. . I had that problm

What u guys think? Im runing unleaded pump fuel 93 octane, habot full synthetic oil mixd 32 to 1. Got 270mains 30pilots. .u think its ok? Or should i change or adjust sumthn?

Went riding yesterday. Went great! Then got home put her away. . 2day i jst wanted to start her up. . But shee wont? I checkd spark. .has good blue spark. Checkd fuel. Got fuel in the float bowls but my plugs are dry!? So i thought mayb my pilots or mains are blockd. . .i opend up my carbs. And nope they fine. . Put them back same story. . .wnt evan start with choke. Dsnt get petrol to cylinders at all. I hav no airleaks and my compression is at 125 both cylinders. When i pour a few drops down the plug hole it starts up but then dies. . .im lost? Help any1? Oh and i took my reeds off and they fine. And my tors is disconected

Hi, i am at the exact same elevation as u. . Exact same mods. . .exept i hav a pro flow filter with no lid and i hav boysen reeds. My pilots are 30 and my mains are 270. I hav flowtech mains in and in the box i got them in it sais there numbers differ to stock jets. A 270 would be equivalent to about 250. Oh and my idle is abit rich bt i like it that way. . I think 27 would be perfect. Hope this helps

Well the topend is perfect. . .it has a dyno jet kit in. And the box i got the jets in sais that there jet numbers are alot biger than the stock numbers. . So i probably got 250s in. . .thanx man -

Its pretty easy. . .try get a screwdrive thats shaft is square, a round1 will do but square is easier. . .now on the outside of the flywheel there are 2 pickups. Put the screwdrivers shaft next2 on ane the point u push in the case. . Theres 3 plases it would hookup. Just be carefull not to let it slip. . Itl damage the pickup. As 4 the boss take old friction plates, about 4. Then put on boss. Clamp them. .drill 3 holes. Bolt 2 of them, put a bicycle cable in the 3rd hole. Now slide it on the boss and tie the cable sumwhere and then turn the nut off. I tied the cable on my frame bt urs is out. . So gdluck.

Sounds lean to me. . . Itl be obvious if ur clutch is sliping though. . .at What rmp range is it crap? U can check that way if its pilots or mains. .try droping the needle clip to richen it up abit. Mayb itl be beta then u know its to lean

Na its standard porting, . .u think its to rich? Would that cause it to die? Cause it does idle but if it comes down from high revs it dies -
I jst bought a bashee. . . Thing is amazing! Only problem is when i rev it up and let the revs come to idle again it dies? But if i start it itl idle fine. Only when it comes down. . .if it wants to die and i touch the throtle abit itl idle then. Bt if i leave it it dies. .i hav 30pilots nd 270mains. Fmf fatty's , boysen reeds and a pro flow filter. . Ive cleaned the carbs out twice and my tors is disconected. . Help any1?

Finaly got my shee fixed. . .it idles ok and goes fine but if i rev it up standing still, when the revs come down the bike dies. .but if i rev it b4 it dies then it idles fine, . . .got any ideas?

Ok i think u misunderstanding my question. . .its 10mm holes. And the rivits that go in there are solid hardend steal. They take the power of the motor. . .u cant jst go put sum crapy pop rivets in
