thanks for the input.did i say that the bike ran fine.we stopped,cooled down,and after restart,pulled in the clutch,tapped into 1st & when letting out the clutch the wheels turned in reverse.I hit the kill switch & thats when it kicked back & cracked the case.(5mi from day use) thanks fellow banshee freaks

needle,seat or both -
clean the little holes in the brass pipe under the main jet.This will fix your cold start prob.(remove main jet & tap tube out throat of carb.use small 1/4 drive socket.clean holes w/wire)lite tapping,no hitting

not worth the hastle. ricky stator offers a stock stator w/timing plate for 125.00.i have ran it for two years hassle free

mac tools or snapon make small magnets that work fine.

after restart my banshee was in reverse.when i let the clutch out the wheels turned backwards.when i shut off motor, the kickstart stop(inside clutch cover)slammed back & busted the engine case.could this have been caused by the pin not being in the hole in the case?Im baffled
