RTV is fine just run a bead smear it around, let it set up til it gets tacky and pop your cover on and tighten in sequences ...Less is more too Or you could just buy a gasket ...but im a cheap ass -

Looks fake to me also, that aside, young and drunk I fell into a fire once. I was wearing mesh shorts and when I fell the shorts went down as well and I ass-planted the fire..2nd and 3rd degree across my whole ass..Wasn't a fun hospital visit and wasn't a very enjoyable month after the incident..I've got pics somewhere I'll show just for shits and giggles..Moral of the story: Chicks dig scars, but not on your ass. Funny thing though when i went to jail for a DUI I got my mugshot and when asked if I had any identifiable scars..I turned around and got a polaroid taken of my ass

I bet you it's a fuel related issue IMO Make sure you don't have any airleaks spray some carbcleaner around intake boots and what not while its running To test stator and other electrical components you'll need a multimeter to test ohms If you don't have a clymers manual already.. get one. Yeah like i said i've sprayed it with penetrant for the past 3 days everyday..and I don't think im going to be able to beat it out...my luck i keep going ill slip and hit the fuckin case...So grinder with cutting wheel is gonna be my option i think...where can i cut? right in front of the caps?

Hey fellas, Need some help, and ever since the forum changed I can't seem to get the hang of the search feature like before. But anywho, I wrecked this thing and swingarm bearings are shot. I got new bearings bolt and sleeve..I've been working alot recently and haven't had much time to piss with this thing but I have sprayed the hell out of it with wd for the past 3 days.. I goes out today and get out the BFH thinking im gonna drive that bitch out of there to no avail, It's just wanting to mushroom the end of the bolt.. Do you guys have any advice or should i just cut the whole fucking swinger out? Is it possible to just cut the bolt itself without damaging the swinger?/ Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John.

Lol, when first put the clutch in, i would kick it and kick it and no fuel to cylinders, the plugs were dry, but since i figured out i can start it without a prime by manually choking the carbs with my hands it'll run, before it would only run until the prime was spent usually about 4 seconds...now it'll actually feed itself fuel, but it's not right by any means.. and like i said it spits fuel out the inlets..But go ahead and get an exorcist...this bitch is possessed!

Lol no worries, I have patience but sometimes it gets the best of me,,nother question shouldn't the carb spray if found on a leak INCREASE the RPMS? I'm out there now pissing with it. It's hard trying to cover carbs kick, jump off keep throttle going reach for carb spray and try and spray around intake and what not ...Need another set of hands. But no worries i got a 30 pack of ice cold PBR to keep my frustration at bay....but damn does the arch of my foot hurt from kickin that fucker...

Slides are in right, the cutaway is facing towards the airbox, and both "ping" marks appear in the windows of both carbs... So yeah it's in right trust me. As for trying to get it at a steady rpm, it's difficult, it's hard to keep running besides just goosin the throttle.. and even then it eventually floods itself out..i hold it WOT kick it and it'll fire back up without much care, but even then its sputtering intermittently on both banks...as for a leakdown test..i have no clue what im doing, point me in the right direction if ya would

Know im kinda hoping for a magical answer for my fix..and it's hard to diagnose a problem over the net .but sooner or later I'll figure it out, if it means replacing the whole bike, so be it :cool: Thx for the replies fellas, Chime in if you got an idea though I'd appreciate it

All good carbs are synced...been there done it messing with the pilot screw runs best at 2 turns out. And yeah I am starting it without the airbox put box in and brand new filter and nothing won't do shit... Not too worried about the tires can't even move em yet anybody ????
