Gotcha...the crankshaft seal can be tested with just the rear hose

I remember putting that hose in soapy water when I did leak down, was that to check the crankshaft seal? It's been awhile I think I'm confused, would that mean I would have to remove clutch cover to check for air leak if the hose is blocked off?

Had a old school welder do a pipe same way. Brazed it I guess, then plated it. 1978 yz250 pipe. Really thin metal
