How much wider do the YFZ arms make the Banshee? Do you have to buy long rear axles? My suspension is stock and I do a lot of trail riding and some drag racing...I need some suspension help!

Just got my new Snap-on compression tester and rechecked each cylinder 3 times...it came out 120/122. Just curious, but if my jetting is perfect and I maintain the quad...how long should I have before a rebuild? Thanks.

How do you install a new head...is it just bolt on? Also, what domes should I get? Thanks.

I removed one plug at a time to do the compression test...one plug was always in while doing the test. The temperature outside was around 60 degrees and the bike hadn't been running. I really hope its just the carbs...I ordered rebuild kits for both carbs, but it will be a week or two before I can work on them...my Wrangler just took a crap today! Any guesses on what my jetting should be with my mods just so I can check what the previous owner had done. Thanks for all the help .

Well first Im going to find a better compression tester...if anyone has the name or link to one I would appreciate it. Then if the compression doesn't check out, I thought about sending the cylinders to Lakes Motorsports...I saw them on Ebay and they do the top end for $299 including the machine work...anyone know anything about them? I really hope it doesn't need a rebuild right now because it was running awesome the other day and starting easy. When it started getting hard to start I noticed gas dripping from one of the vent lines off the carbs...people told me to rebuild the carbs and all my troubles would go away. Also, I have done plenty of mechanical work...how hard is it to do the topend for your first time? Thanks.

I checked my compression today and my numbers were 110/108...are these ok? Mods in my signature. I've just been trying to rule everything out because the bike won't start...when I bought it about 3 weeks ago, it fired up first or second kick and ran awesome. Next Im going through the carbs. Im powdercoating the frame and cleaning my Banshee up and I want to get my steel Toomey T5 header/expansion pipes coated in either a very shiny silver or chrome. Where is a good place to get this done? Is the Jet Hot coating any good?...I emailed them for a price and they never got back to me. Thanks.

I would like to have my stock springs powdercoated...does it hold up? Are the stock springs powdercoated from the factory? I just assumed they were painted, but since Im getting a bunch of other stuff powdercoated might as well do these too. Thanks.

A few questions...Im trying to redo all my wiring before stripping it down to powdercoat the frame...the guy before me hacked at the wiring harness pretty good. Questions: 1. Do you have to do any wiring to do the TORS eliminator kit? 2. Do Banshees (2002) have a key switch? 3. What year Banshees have the same wiring harness as a 2002? 4. Do Banshees have any kind of indicator lights (engine temp, neutral, etc.)? Im new to this, sorry for the stupid questions but I owned a KFX400 before this. Thanks for all the help.

I just purchased my Banshee a week ago and I noticed while playing with it, the kill switch doesn't seem to work and the guy wired in a toggle switch that has to be on to start the bike. Are kill switches known to go bad on Banshees? Also, when doing the TORS elimination kit...do you have to do any wiring or is it just replacing caps/cables/installing idle screws? Thanks for the help...I think Im going to rebuild the carbs because after I shut the Banshee off it leaks gas anyways...do you think this may help?

Here is my twist throttle...let me know what you think (its made by ITC and works good): Are my TORS deleted? Are these plugs for the TORS? Could my idle problem be realted to the TORS? Thanks.

I have a 2002 Banshee and the kick start lever rattles. The bike starts fine and the piece isn't going to fall off, but is there a rebuild or a way to fix this? Thanks.
