How far in can i turn the power jets i dont want to ruin my bike, maybe 1 full turn? i will be mostly riding at pismo. and i know it varies on temp but how exactly do i know what is the right way to tune them?

i thought the more compression the more power especially on alky, i wonder why the bike is not running that fast then ? i have my bike setup for drag and his is for dune/ drag? what could i be missing ?? i thought it would be faster?

ok whatever you do dont get one of those boondockers junk, get a wet kit, you will need a bottle, lines, bottle warmer, cilenoids, manifold, fuel pump, jets for manifold, a micro switch to wire in on the throttle to where it engages at full throttle, wire, on off switch for fuel pump, and you have to wire in the micro switch to the cilenoids... cant really think of much else i am sure someone will chime in, coldfusion is a good place

so how exactly do i tune them? never understood if i should turn them all the way up or what?

So i have power jets on my 40mm hv lectrons, how do you know if they are working? it does not seem like the fuel is going up to the jets from the bottom of the bowl? in the line it looks like its only going 1/2 way up the line? but i am not looking at it when i am running it? any ideas?

hahaha yeah i think its time for it to go, but i did buy the hide a key that went under the seat.

took all the shit out of the engine there was not much fuel... still did not start then i played with the key wiring and sure enough i think i have the wires to the key pulled to tight. ran great thing is fast as hell

ok well i have not even rode the bike yet i went to take it out and never could get it started after the first time... i did tip the bike over and a shit load of fuel came out of the pipes///

changed the plus still does not run... kinda wondering what to do next.

i am going to try new plugs tonight, you guys know how long i can leave the alky in the system? 1 day 2 days? i mean what if i am on vaca? for like a week i have to purge it everynight?

its not too cold. i live in cali so i am thinking after i purged it the plugs fouled or something?

So my banshee is a 421 on alky and it was running then i purged the lines with gas a week later i tried to start it back up and nothing. cannot figure this one out. put the alky in and it fires and sounds like it is not gettin the fuel. it will run for a sec then sputter and die. any ideas

i know i saw your bike when i got home from dropping it off at teh powder coaters, and i thought to myself i wonder if thats what its going to look like when i am done.. sure enough... but i am sure yours is way way faster../.

well its a candy green to start with not a lime green the pic does not do it any justice. and i was going to do candy red or candy blue, but people i ride with already have those colors... so within my group green is the OG color... hey guys thanks for the input i cannot wait to ride it.. i am going to take it out this weekend..
