    longer rod's don't change port timing only give you a better rod angle..hell you could have a 20 foot rod(an exageration) but it's only going to go up and down according to stroke.like fouled out said less cylinder wall to piston load.check your piston to head clearance to be safe.

    i know the wolfe bros. real well.if you build it they will come!!60 to 70 is easy at a fair race they stopped sign ups at 390 bikes at a ky fair about 9 years ago-no practice-single elimination..my favorite kind of format.i pulled in 900.00 dollars in two weeks in 3 fairs.those were the good old days...

    one of my buddies raced a 400 sport for years it went 4.50s on the juice...when it did'nt blow the cases out.the bike was no joke.preds junk?i rode one for 4 years.it was dependable and fairly quick for it's weight.i am a huge banshee fan and have had one since 87.to think everything else is junk or slow is stupid....

    if you weigh over 180 don't do it.they take away some low end torque.

    you will definetly feel the timing.they come so detuned from the factory.lots more snap.

    i thought with the 193 octane you had to run at least 835#s of compression and +44 degrees of timing

    knocking could be a rod.did you check them when the cylinders were off.

    with no portwork and 135# of comp. c12 will probably slow you down.if you engine dose'nt need race gas don't run it.race gas would take 2 tenths out of my street bike over sunoco 94.strut your front so the arms are level and then strap down the back.leave your timing at +4....good luck.i'm sure you will get different opinions.

    tried my bike out yesterday!!it's a f...ing turd...that's the last time i will do roofys and port cylinders at the same time..you guy's are going to kill me!!i may just watch you guys drag..
