http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290384309126 Has anyone used one of these kits? How do they compare to having your stock jugs ported and bored? Is it truely bolt on, or are there other mods you need to make? Do you also need to buy larger carbs? I was considering having my stock cylinders bored and ported, but this may be a simpler option. Does anyone have any feedback? Thanks

What do you mean right bowl on correct carb? Is there a difference?

When installing V Force 2 reeds do you put a gasket on both sides of the reed cage?

2003 stock bore, V-2's, Timing +4, FMF Gnarly's, Stock carbs no TORS, K&N Pods Over the weekend I installed a Boss intake w/ internal crossover and a 2 into 1 air filter (needed to use this air filter to clear the exhaust). It started fine, idled fine, but when I got it in gear and gave it gas it would not go. It would run, but had no power. I have 290's at 800'. It was close to dialed in before the change, so I was wondering what I should be looking to adjust, or maybe I should just leave well enough alone and go back to stock. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I have an 03 Banshee, No TORS, V-2 Reeds, FMF Gnarly's, K&N Pods, +4 Timing. The bike starts right up, idels great, carbs are synced but when I get in third gear and higher it seems as though the left cylinder isn't always producing the power it should. Sometime it kicks in and shee flies, other times it's laim. Any ideas what I should be looking at that causes this problem? I feel that I have the jetting right on as I've been working on that all summer. Any and all help is appreciated.

Thanks for the help everyone. I finally got ahold of Full Flight and I should be good to go. I'm going to start on them tonight.

I know there are some who do not like the Full Flight A-Arms, but they are what I could afford. I picked up a new, second hand set and have some installation questions. Could someone tell me/show me the difference between the left and the right and the order of the spacers. I do not have any instruction and cannot reach Full Flight by phone. I appreciate any help and/or pictures you could share with me.

My front and rear fenders are in rough shape. Where is the best place to get a graphics kit from that will have fender graphics, as well as tank and side panels?

Lake Arrowhead, it's south of Wisconsin Rapids

Why doesn't anyone use the 10w30 recommended in the owners manual?

Elevation is 951 feet. Air screw 2 turns out, clip in stock position

I ride in Wisconsin, have FMF Gnarly's, K&N pods, +4 timing. I installed 290 mains and it has a very noticable bog at WOT. I went up to 310's and it would backfire at idle and had a worse bog plus backfire at WOT. Am i running too rich. Does backfiring mean a too rich, or too lean condition? I picked up some 270's and 280's, do you think I'm going too lean? Thanks for your thoughts.

Think about this for a minute. If you don't have an overflow, where does the coolant go. That's right on the ground. How many places each year do the tree hugger close down. Don't give them cause! A little common sense will keep OUR sport alive.

I just put K&N's on mine and love them. I bought from [email protected] off of ebay. Came with outerwares and coolant overflow relocation bracket. I say give it a try. You will love them

http://cgi.ebay.com/SPEEDLINEZ-Yamaha-Bans...%3A1%7C294%3A50 Has anyone used these. I like the idea of not having the T connection

I'm going from a K&N filter no airbox lid to no airbox and individual K&N Filters. I was jetted at 290 (Wisconsin). Will I need to go larger on the mains and will I have to change out the pilots. I'm not sure of the size of my pilot. It came with the kit I bought from Vito's.

I have stock carbs that weren't working well so I bought another set and used the best parts of each to build one good set. I keep reading that the slides are side specific. Is this true? What does that mean exactly and how do you tell which slide goes on which side

Check the distance between the flywheel and the pickup. Should be as close as possible without touching. A matchbook cover or business card can be used as a gauge

I have a set on my shee. Had the same issue with the swingarm and used the same method you did. I like them and the red looks awesome on my banshee.

Mod Quad chain slides and guides install
Woody 350 replied to bigblockbanshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
It goes around where the swingarm connects to the frme. There should be a slider there already. It's just a circular piece. Take it off with a knife. The new piece comes apart, take the screw out. The knob sticking out rests on the swingarm. The weight of the chain keeps it there. There is a picture that a member sent me when I asked the same question. If you click on my username and choose view all posts you will find the pic. -
cheapcycleparts.com is another great place. You can also call them at 866-842-0086

If you do buy an adjustable plate, be sure to use a site sponsor like Chariot. I just bought one from them, the price was right and you keep the money in the family

I started installing some Streamline stainless steel front brake lines this weekend and was wondering where the best place to mount the "T" connector would be. Anyone done this mod and have some input and pics. I appreciate the info.
