if you keep your system patched its alot less likely you will be vulernable to worms. Viruses you normally have to execute yourself, and are found through trojans, which are programs that are not what they appear to be. I went to that same website myself with the shotgun blast thing before, it poped up a bunch of windows n stuff, but it did not infect my computer. It really sounds more like a script made to annoy you than anything, but its possible you could have had a virus or something before hand. In order for a virus to infect your system you either have to execute it or be vulnerable. It amazes me sometimes that old worms are still spreading even though the exploit patches have been out for years. Run a virus scanner, Im guessing it left a trojan in your cash. A firewall isnt going to solve anything if its already on your computer or is attacking you or if it is attacking through, 8000 the http port.

did you pay it on a credit card? if so you could probably dispute the payment, I have had to do that a few times. Or report it to paypal. it sucks but you can't let people get away with things. False pictures are BS.

hey I don't want to insult you, but you should just take it easy man. Maybe if you think a little more and look up words you don't know how to spell I'm sure people will lighten up a little. when you buy the disk your supposed to keep it updated, helps to prevent them in the first place. I have a feeling he got some malicious adware program instead of winMX.. Where did you DL the file from?

thanks for the link, looks interesting. Im guessing it is more restrictive than a precharger, but only testing could tell it might be a large enough area that it isnt restrictive, but then again, iot might be as restrictive as running 2 K&N on top of eachother.

virus scan isn't 100% but try running a couple of those programs to remove addware, theres probably still something on there that it isn't detecting as a virus or trojan, could be something you accidentaly installed when you launched that exe. Also make sure you reset your homepage to google, or BHQ or whatever.

I didn't know you had a special air box lid, that changes things, i have never sceen that lid do you have a link? The precharger helps keep the larger crap from sticking and clogging up your K&N, but I don't know now that you say your using a different lid.
