Over priced in my opinion, in November i bought a 2004, very clean, low hours banshee. It came with T5's, V3, pods, and new paddles, all for the low price of 2700.00. There are some excelent deals out there due to current economy, look around.
Sounds like you have a lot of experience running up here. Do you think running the needle in the 4th spot would be to rich for my mods listed below? I am trying to get as close as possible the first time out.
thanks.
Hello everyone, I am trying to get my needle dialed in. My banshee will only be run at Saint Anthony (5000ft), temps are in the 50's, with the mods below, do you think running the the fourth from the top would be to rich? The bike came with the clip in the 2nd spot, and was defiantly lean. The mains are set at 280 and the bike runs fine up top. Any input or advice is greatly appreciated.
I had my head upside down once while looking at it, one of the buckets fell off and I put it back on. I didn't notice the shim had fallen out, I all most put the motor back together like that. Could you have lost a shim while looking for the clip? Could that cause the problem you are describing?
This is exactly the info i am looking for as well. I was planing on keeping my swing arm stock, I ride at 5000 feet, so if i did a 421 cub would the elevation take enough out of the engine to make it manageable with no extended swing arm? Do I have to run minimum 35 carbs to feed her, and how much dunning can i do on a tank of gas? I ride at St. Anthony, usually park at the egin lakes and ride down to choke cherry, will i make it back? My other option is a 4mm crank with stock jugs that are ported.
Thanks for all your advice.
