  1. Yes, I still have them. I just got back from the dunes... and they scream!
  2. Titan, is that a 4 inch swinger on you're cub? Love you're answer to 5!
  3. I have CPIs now, just have not updated my sig, but good advice none the less. My goal is to have have an engine that seems to have no end when ripping through the massive bowls at St. Anthony, and dominates everything at choke except the purpose built drag raptor on nitrous or turbo or both. Right now money is an issue, and since I already have the 4mil bottom end it seemed like the right direction. Great input so far from everyone.
  4. Hey guys, I have the mods below and love the power of my 4 mil, However, I am considering a cub. My questions are 1. Will there be a noticeable increase in fuel consumption? I am already close to the edge of my range when I make my usual round trip from Egin to Choke Cherry and back. 2. Will the cub's power not be dunner friendly? (all top end, no mid) 3. Will I sacrifice any reliability, or increase the amount of time spent tuning or wrenching? 4. Will I have a hard time shifting with my stock tranny? 5. Will the power make me forget all these questions?
  5. Hey guys, I bought the kit last August from Kevin, put 2 1/2 months on them before before winter, and have time on them this season. They run great, but now I am thinking about a cub. I wanted to see if there is any interest in them, They had 180 psi in each cylinder when I finished the build, and were at 155 about a month ago. Please don't hesitate with any questions. Asking $650.00
  6. I understand, thanks for all the input guys.
  7. Hey guys, I have some douglas .125 wheels and I want to paint them black. What is the best way to do it? Thanks.
  8. Yeah, hopefully that changes, I am really looking forward to a weekend of good racing.
  9. I saw on duneratt you painted you're "stock bore stock stroke YFZ", looks good. Did Brett get his override fixed?
  10. Good, I will look for you.
  11. Let me know when you come up Brandon, I would like to meet you.
  12. I should be out today, are you going out?
  13. When the weather is nice I am out there quite often. Are you new to the area? Maybe I have seen you before.
  14. 350 plus 35 for shipping and I will end the auction.
  15. Hey guys, here are my T5s on eBay if anyone is interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Toomey-T5s-Chrome-Exhaust-/110526021359?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19bbdd3eef
  16. NO snow, and the sand was good, little rough and wet, but I'll take it.
  17. I have to agree with all of it, except the "better atmospheres" part I don't understand. What do you mean? You will love LS UT, it is my second favorite place.
  18. Take it easy Devil Dog... I am just trying to shed some truth on the matter. Besides, you live in NY, what do you know about Glamis?
  19. Matt, I would respectfully disagree. I have lived very close to a lot of different dunes In my life (Glamis, Little Sahara UT, Coral pink UT, St. Anthony Id) and have spent much time at all, and I am here to tell you that St. Anthony is the king of them all. Nothing is steeper or taller than st. Anthony, only LS UT is close. The views are great with the Grand Tetons to the east, and all the lush green farm land spread out for miles. The dunes are not very busy, and because of that there is not a strong law enforcement presence. There are other reasons too, but you should come see for you're self.
  20. I cut my springs on my stock carbs and it was an improvement, the springs on my 35's came cut from HJR, and I just took another coil off. I only had my stock carbs stick once, cutting springs has worked for me.
  21. Everything that Jbook said is spot on. The 4 mil build is a great bang for the buck, I love mine.
  22. I run 140's @ 5000 feet, temps around 50-60, cel needle on 3rd. runs great.
  23. I run the setup below with LL100, and love it. I am at 5000 feet though.
  24. Here is what you have to consider, most builders will tell you to weld the crank if you are having porting done. If you take they're advice (which you should) you have to split the case and pay like 50 bucks to have it done. Why not spend the 450 on a brand new crank that adds power and reliability, not to mention the ability to step up to 4 mil cub down the road with little or no hassle. I used this logic when Kevin did mine, and I sold my stock crank on ebay for about 120 bucks, It's a no brain-er if you have the extra cash. The difference between my bike then and now is enormous. Go with the 4 mil!
  25. "2 out of 3?"
