you are right,it is a +12 deg timing plate that i have and it is run on only race gas. maybe thats why it falls on its face if you hole in the throttle to long..........when i got the plate it was suppose to be used on alc. BUT we could not get it to run on alc

the guy i baught my timing plate from told me to +12 it i thought maybe that was too much but he said it was ok......it is on a 4mil stock cylinder motor with 18cc domes that run on Q16 VP fuel or 110. when i first got it,i was suppose to be running aly. but i could not get it to run good on it so i went back to gas but left the timing on +12,is this a safe timing for a 4mil/18ccdome motor on 110 fuel ??

Does anyone have a pic of a MODDED shift star ? i have a spare one and wanted to try it out and see if it will allow me to shift better. if there are no pic then can someone tell me what needs to be done to it ?

im looking for a good set of cub cylinder......would like them ported if possible. i have a 4mil crank standard rod in the bottom end.

will the cheetah need to be ported ? im running a stock cylinder ported for stockcrank and bore,so im hoping i can just botl on some cheetahs and gain some power.....theres also a 4mill under it now.

is there any difference in the two power wise ?

well we did a speed test with a gps and it runs around 94mph,does that sound about right for a stockcylinder 4-mill with PRO-C pipes ? the intake ports are cut from top to bottom,its MUCH bigger than stock,and so is the exhaust side....to me it looks like its ported for a big motor.

what does advancing the timing do ?

what needs to be changed in the ports ?

The cylinders are ported for the stock crank,so i guess its better to leave the plate in place then?. sounds like if i were to remove the plate and run it the way it is i'd lose some power if i don't report.

I built a 4mil stock cylinder motor that i used the spacer plate on the bottom of the cylinder,but i was told that i would make more power if a removed the plate and had the domes cuts.........is this true ? and also the domes are 18cc, so if i cut them how much needs to be cut out for a race gas setup ? cylinders are fully ported also. IS IT WORTH THE TROUBLE TO REMOVE THE PLATE AND HAVE THE DOMES CUT? thanks

vito ported it for there super stock piston setup.
