i said charging wasnt a issue cause it is actually charging but when i am riding at night with the lights on. the stator cant keep the battery charged cause its putting out approx 50w when the lights require 70w. there is more draw off the battery then it can charge.

trail tech told me i should be able to run a 3ah battery no problem. so i will got o ricky stator and have them rewind my stator for 75 bucks

just like the title says. there like new only 3 weekends on them at glamis, no rims 100 bucks shipped. will take paypal as a gift only shipping will probly be 35 40 bucks. so you get the point.

electrosports makes one, they supplied moose with there HO stators before moose discontinued it. my second light stayed on on for a few but it slowly died just not enough voltage in the battery to keep it going. also i hear a lot pf people say bad things about ricky stator but 2 of my friends run them and havent had any problems in the 4 years they have ran it. but i would suggest Electrosport stators as well. and plus ricky stator is just over the hill from me about 25 miles or so.

Ok guys. i had a little issue with my HIDs this weekend after riding for about an hour i didnt have this issue before. one light was flickering and then completely went out then the second slowly went dead. i thought it was a battery or charging issue but that's not the case. so i made some calls to Trail Tech and to Ricky Stator and explained my situation. and they both told me that once you do the dc conversion you loose actual wattage on the stator. so if you have a 100w stator for AC power and then convert to DC power you will have approx 45-52w of usable DC power. and for a high output stator of 200w you will have approx 120w of power. just some info to pass along for guys that are wanting to do the DC Conversion. So i will be in the market for a HO stator soon.

when you turn right on to gecko rd make another right before the ranger station and you will see the cement flats. i dont like it down there again its away from the dunes. and you have to cross the road everytime you wanna leave or go back to camp.
