  1. Do you happen to know what year of LTR your shocks came off of?? Curious because zuki softened up the shocks for the 08s. I have the YFZ Arms/Shocks and stock banshee spindles. It rides pretty dang rough (like a tank), plus I bottom out everyonce in a while landing jumps. How much longer are the LTRs than the YFZs? I really wasn't planning on switching spindles but if it'll help a ton I'll definetly swap them out.
  2. I'm sure there are quite afew of us wondering.......how does the setup ride with the new shocks????
  3. This is an interesting thread. So how do the LTR shocks compare to the YFZ shocks? Could I use the LTR shocks with the stock banshee spindles? Thanks
  4. Is the lift up for sale??? That is a sick looking truck.
  5. I've been racking my brain for the past few days on deciding which tire to go with. I've narrowed it down to the Kenda Knarly and the Dunlop KT355 (stock yfz tire). Out of these two which one would be the best bang for the buck??? Is there a difference between the KT355 and KT355A??? What is the difference between the Knarly, Knarly XC and Knarly XC sport radial??? I do want to stick with a 20" tire. I do not have really have anything to compare to because my banshee still has the stock 2001 dunlops on there. Although I did swap rims/tires with a buddy that has a fairly newer 08 YFZ and they hooked amazing on the banshee. I realized that the KT355 comes in 20x10 and the Knarly is 20x11. Is there a big difference in the knarly being that its one inch wider??? Sorry for all the questions guys.
  6. I honestly still don't know what to do about them. I've thought about stockers because they just give it the true banshee look, but I would like to have something alittle brighter. Thanks for the offer sheefreak, if you still have them pretty soon I might take them off your hands.
  7. Well I tried some stock YFZ tires/rims on my banshee today and suprisingly they hooked 100 times better than my stock shee tires. Of course I think anything would hook better than my stock tires that were made in 2001. I'm still trying to decide which ones I want to go with. Now i've pretty much narrowed it down to the Kenda Knarlys, Stock yfz, and regular holeshots. Any other suggestions. Which one would you go with out of the three I listed? Thanks
  8. We don't really have any rocks down here in south texas. The only ones we ride on is when are on gravel roads. I thought about a mud tire but figured they would be way to heavy compared to sport atv tires. In fact I've seen quiet afew warriors that run mud tires out back, I always wondered why.
  9. Yeah neither did I. I figured they'd just get alittle warm but by the looks of them I must have had them on for the majority of the day. I haven't seen many lights in the For Sale sections, what would be a good price for the pair?
  10. Loco, did you ever try those tires from F.A.S.T.??? I'm still trying to debate which ones I want to buy.
  11. I totally forgot all about this thread, sorry guys. I've been able to ride the shee quite afew time with the YFZ stuff. It defenitly is a rougher ride but it might be because my pre-load is cranked. The stability is 100% better than stock, I could turn quicker and sharper. The one major fall back about this conversion is that it does bottom out on big jumps. This past weekend I was running a MX track and every once in a while the A-arms would contact the ground as I was landing. Honestly it scared the shit outta me the first time but I've improved on my landings and am using my rear shock more than my front. I think if I was to put longer shocks on it, this setup would be great. Still not too bad for $300.
  12. This past weekend I pulled a bone-head move at the off-road park I attended. I had a set of old vinyl KC light cover that I found in my garage and figured they would look good on the shee. So I decided to put them on because the park I was going to was usually muddy and didn't feel like cleaning my lights before dark. Some time through-out the day on saturday I must have switched the lights on and didn't realize it. Well saturday night I took off the covers to make a night run and found out that the lights got so hot with the cover on, it melted the lens/black mesh. Here are a few pics of the covers and the melted lights Since they are pretty much ruined, I'm looking to replace these. Should I go with the stock lights or a different kind? If so, which brand and model number? I am also running the stock stator, so the new lights really can't be a higher wattage. Thanks
  13. How much for a pair of stock headlights shipped to 78374? Thanks
  14. http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...dFamilyId=12330 I picked up one of these bars about 4 months ago. They are perfect bar for the all-around riding. Plus they are fairly cheap
  15. Yeah it sounds about what mine does. How do you like the advance timing?? I called up Jeff from FAST and he said it would be a noticable difference.
  16. PINNED I pretty much have the same mods as yours. Fatties, V-Force, Pro Design cage and a K&N. If you happen to install it, let me know how it works out Thanks. Now that I know that there is a big increase, I'll most likely advancing it.
  17. I've been thinking about dropping a tooth in the front to a 13, after reading all the positive replies I will switch them out. I do have a question though, will I be able to keep the stock chain if I go from a 14 to a 13??? Also, will going to a 13 be a noticable difference?
  18. I just tried the Photobucket link and it did not work for me. Curious to see it from different angles other than your sig. I have a 02 with the same color scheme.....been debating to cut'em or not.
  19. I just realized that I posted up one of my threads in the wrong section. I'm guessing it belongs in the general area. Appreciate your help guys. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110162
  20. I'm in the market for a set of paddles....but I have no clue which ones to go with. I've been researching the difference between straight paddle and V paddle, seems like V-paddles would be the one suited for me the best. My riding condition are mainly on sandy trails and around the local beach/dunes, so therefore I will be duning more than dragging. Yesterday was my first experience on a set of paddles. I rode a LTR450 with set of Sand Devils (straight paddle), they hooked like no other but all they wanted to do is go straight. It was rather difficult to turn with them, which is why i'm looking in to V-paddles. I am on a fairly cheap budget and last night I found a set of 20x11x8 AMS Sidewinders with 8" Douglas .125 rims for $165 shipped to my door step from RMATV. How are the AMS Sidewinders? What would be a good wheel size....8, 9 or 10? I also found a set of STI Sand Trax 20x11x10 on a set of 10x8 Sport Cast wheels shipped to my door for $185 from Chaparral Racing.com I've read ONE good review on this tire but I figured I'd ask the experts on BHQ......so what do you guys think about the STI Sand trax? Oh yeah my shee is pretty much stock besides a set of FMF Fatties and a Pro Design Manifold System (less the crap bottle).
  21. To tell you the truth, i've only ridden for about 45 mins with the YFZ stuff. Plus it was mainly out in an open field with a few bumps. Although I can tell you that it does seem like it wants to turn quicker, it also seems to handle the bumps better. Most likely i'll go out and ride this weekend, I'll try to remember and post an update on how it rides
  22. I finally decided to get rid of the high-spung stock banshee suspesion for some 07 YFZ A-arms, Shocks and tie rods. I didn't realized that the conversion would drop the front a substantial amount. Saturday I spend about 8 hours installing everything and sunday I was able to take it for a quick spin. The ride was alot different, although I still need to set-up the shocks for the terrain i'll be riding in. Here are a few pics to compare my banshee when it was stock vs. YFZ conversion. Before: After: Before: After:
  23. Beachcruiser

    YFZ A-arms

I've been searching the YFZ and Raptor 700 forums for a set of decent a-arms. I've found a few deals but they've all feel through. Let me know if you have some and how much you are asking for them. Thanks
  24. Hahaha that shit is hilarious. Thanks for the post.......that made my afternoon.
