thanks a lot guys, this is easily the most helpful forum out there. i love the banshee community.

so, i used to post here a bit and i was really into my banshee. some stuff happened and i wasnt able to ride it for a year, i got it back and apparently got over-eager and i blew it up. i havent even torn it down yet, but im thinking that since its going to be apart i may just go all out (within reason). i can get it ported and rebuilt with a 4mill crank without too much trouble, correct? im sorry if im a bit vague, but what would a port, rebuild, and 4 mill cost me? i just need a rough rough estimate. thanks for anybody who takes the time.

god. i was in a hurry today to go ride, and my bike has been apart. so i hurry and put everything back together and head out. about 30 minutes later i come down out of a wheelie and as my left foot hits the peg it comes off and that side of my nerf bars hits the ground. scary shit. i had to ride home without a footpeg. i dont plan on hurrying again.

oh alright thanks man. premium here is 91, but is it safe to run enough octane booster to jump me to 93 so i could possible run 19s?

ah.. so around 20's. will this be a pretty fair increase in power?

hey could anybody give me some ideas for what size domes to run with a new coolhead? ive got t3 pipes, +4 timing, pro flo filter, boyensen reeds, stock carbs.. not much done. whats the most agressive i could go with pump gas?

would there be any trouble with putting such a high performance pipe on a bike that is 90% stock? the bike will have k&n pods, advanced timing, and these pipes with rejetting. oh and if he does get these pipes (friends bike) what would be good next?

oh well shit. yeah i dont want one, just my friend got a banshee and it had a parking brake on it. i didnt know they all had em. i guess thats yet another thing that i didnt know.

i was thinking about powdercoating my pipes and hubs (to look sweet with the new wheels and tires!) Does anybody have any vague estimates for what that would cost to do? black pipes and red hubs?

haha kinda dead thread.... i have pretty much melted my leg before though. i flipped my quad and the pipe landed on me and i couldnt get it flipped over fast enough. i had shorts on.

haha im kinda in the same spot as you... its fast as hell so i might just go with wheels and tires. i love the setup marinenyc has for wheels with his hubs. i love it.

the bikes in ok shape. it looks good but its old.. its an 88. you can kinda tell on the swingarm and front suspension that aged. but it still runs fine other than being hard to start. i love going fast though. haha

It's simple. If you had $600 to spend on your Banshee for Christmas what would you get? I need some ideas. theres so many different things to do. I need: all sorts of suspension K&N pods or some kind of filter wheels tires lights timing plate i could use some newer pipes (i think i have t3's or t4's) new front bumper extended swingarm new nerfs theres endless things that i need/want to do. i was just wondering what you guys would do. fill me in i need ideas!

alright, i got it all figured out i think... hey my friends gotta yfz450 (ported head, valve work, high compression piston) i should be able to take him right? i mean i dont wanna talk crap and get my ass handed to me
