ok i just got my bike running and last niite it was kinda warm so i went out to work on it and i had a puddle of coolant under my bike so i cleaned it up and what not and i was like why do i have coolant on the floor well i decided to drain my oil and nothin but coolant came out for about 3 seconds what the hell is goin on? i took my clutch cover off and i replaced that o-ring on the transfer tube and put it back together and when i went to put more coolant in it it just started to pour out of the collant plate thing so i put some make a gasket shit on it and tightened it down really tight should that fix it

ok i was goin to go black and put graphics over them is that a good idea? how well do the graphics stick to the paint? i dont want to waste my money if they are just goin to fall off or start to peel after a week

what colors are the best? my plastics are grey and blue i wanna re-paint or buy new ones my frame is black i just painted that im not goin for anything all show and stuff just want it to look nice on the trails what color do you guys suggest? like what color woud cover grey and blue really good and not show all those imperfections of a branch smack and stuff like that

ok hope this doesnt get moved or deleted but i am looking for a 89 yugo i know laugh it up haha. but really i want one i am willing to pay up to 800 bucks for a running one in fair cond. i know someone on here has to have one or there dad or grandparents have to have one so if you do PM me about it i live in northwest ohio so if you are close that would be awesome

i am in need of a throttle and clutch cable in good cond. i dont want to spend more then 30 bucks shipped for both they dont need to be new but they do need to work and slide smooth the throttle cable has to be for carbs without the TORS (stock carbs)

well i am buying carbs from a guy off here so maybe they will idle and i dont have to worry about it.. will they be fine if i just unhook the tors and leave them on or do i have to remove them completly

i was just lookin on ebay at TORS removal kit and alot of them say they dont come with an idel screw do you really need that or can you stay with the one that is already in the carb? cuz when i found one with the idle screw it had a drill bit and tap so do you need to drill and tap that hole to get the new one to work??

yeah i am getting the black graphics so i am getting new black plastics and shaving the front fenders i dont know why yamaha made them like that they look soo stupid..

yeah i have the stock carbs with the TORS so i screw them all the way in then back them out 1 -1/2 turns.. or can i just start the bike and back them out till i get the right idle speed? that what i do with my r-c cars but these things are probly way different sorry im new to the banshee this is my first one and everytime i work on it i think of new stuff to ask about it so i can build my knowledge on them you guys have already helpled me out on alot of things so thanks much

i got a question about carbs since we are talking about them my bike when i get it running it wont idle how do i get it to idle?? is it with that flat head screw next to the gas inlet ? if so mine is all stripped out

i am lookin to get a set of carbs for my 93 banshee i want them without the TORS system i would like them to be outta a newer banshee tho so i know they work good and im looking to spend between 100-125 bucks for them

pipes i think t-5's im not sure they are black but the silencers are toomys other then that it is bone stock

ok need some hints on what to do next to my 93 banshee i am making it into a trails and open field bike so speed is a factor i want to tear it all down after i get it dialed in and re-paint everything i will get a pic up tomorrow sometime so you guys know what it looks like just keep in mine it is under construction so dont be too harsh on it she needs some tlc

i have a 99 yz250 i want to trade for a banshee 99 or newer bike runs great not a thing wrong with it all it needs is a new clutch cable it has one but it is kinda short you can still ride it tho. has new top end this past summer and new skin industries graphics with a cut airbox and a shaved seat

what about grey?? i have grey plastics on mine and they look ok but i am goin to all red or all black i dont ride trails i ride in my yard and in my fields alot. wide open no branches to hit

yeah haha i really want a new shee but my fiance told me to work on this one some more and if i cant fix it then try to sell my raptor to get a new or newer one so i told her ok i will see what i can do

i got a better one for you i was selling my 1980 yamaha ss440 sled mint cond. really nice asking 550 bucks for it got an email about 3 days later from a dude that said he is goin to send me a money order and all that jazz so i opened up a PO box just to see if he was for real had him send it to the PO box i got the check 4 days later but it was for 5000 bucks! haha i emailed him back told him the check didnt clear so he sent me another one for 6000 bucks !! well to make a long story short i turned it into the cops and they got the guy.

ok 08 was the last year now is there any way i could go to canada and buy one and bring it back? i want a new banshee i think mine is junk haha and im tired of messing with it. just want to start over

i heard from some guy at work that in canada they still make the banshee and they are making 09 models is this true? i just want to get the facts straight we have been yelling back and forth for a couple days about it so please someone make this clear to me.

well it doesnt run long enough to get warmed up it will probly run for about 20 seconds if that then it will just die and i dont know if the coolant is goin into the oil i will check tommorow but when i do get some money i am goin to buy a rebuild kit for my carbs
