Leak Down Testers, Get One Now, Gauges Backordered
Poolman replied to Poolman's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Many Banshee owners never run a Leak Down Test much less know what one even is. If for example they do not have any air leaks and are running 260 - 300 main jet and there bike performs well then this is what there bike requires, but if there bikes do have an air leak they end up running greater than 300 mains and I have read where some are running up to 350 or higher mains. If your mods don't go beyond pipes, +4 timing, different air induction system (i.e. pods, open air lid) then in my opinion anything over 300 mains (Also taking into consideration elevation) is just flat overcompensation for an air leak so they are not running in a lean condition but instead are burning much more fuel than they really need to to get the same performance from the machine without a leak or leaks running 260 - 300 mains. The problem with this scenario is that the leak or leaks will only get worse over time and the bike will run worse thus causing you to increase main jet size to once again over compensate for an increasing air leak. One other thing, Someone told me yesterday He has never run a Leak Down Test on any of the two stroke motor's he has ever built. Ask Jeff at Fast Sand & Toy's if he runs a Leak Down Test ?, Ask Kevin at HJR does he run a Leak Down Test. Are you kidding me, An Engine Builder not performing a Leak Down Test. I would not have him build my motor, That's my two cent's on that subject. Once you have your Leak Down Tester installed and run your test if you are losing psi You can take a bottle of windex and start spraying this all over the engine looking for bubbling. This bubbling will tell you where your leak is. Fix the leak and re - run the test. After all leaks have been fixed you should see 6 psi after six minutes. Now whatever main jet makes your bike run at optimal performance is where you should be and you are also getting optimal MPG. The Best time to use a Leak Down Tester is 1. If you have never tested for leaks on your Banshee motor and 2. Right after you have built a fresh motor and before you have even started it for the first time. I Don't speak without experience, I've been through this scenario several times. I pull out my leak down tester and 90% of the time I have acquired a leak. Yes you need to take the carbs and header pipes off to run the test but your not floundering however many times with the re-jetting process with an inconsistent air leak. I know how many people I have already helped who have purchased one of my homemade leak down tester's. I get the Pm's. Most 18 to whatever age have never worked with primer and PVC glue much less know the tricks to make a leak-less Leak Down Tester. I've been a plumber for over 33 year's and a master plumber for the last 20. I'm not getting rich on these things. I get more satisfaction out of the Thank Yous through the PM'S. You can buy one of my Leak Down Tester's geared toward the Banshee for between $44.00 - $67.00 I profit $15.00 for each tester sold. Another option would be to buy a Motion Pro 2 Stroke Leak Down Tester for $300.00 Of course you can test just about any 2 stroke engine out there with that. I have explained myself enough times now to the proper people that I am doing this for the BansheeHQ community to be helpful. If I'm not appreciated here I will leave and don't worry, The door ain't gonna hit me in my Ass. I already know I've helped over 30 people and that makes me feel good. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ If anyone wants to get there Leak Down Tester mailed out today you have about 2 more hours before my mail gets picked up. Order Now so I can get your's Boxed up and a Shipping Label affixed and out the door today. Thanks Guy's ! -

I'm not knowledgable with Ace Fabrication but I ordered a +2 Swing Arm from EyeBall Engineering a couple of month's ago and Love it. Very Heavy Duty Swing Arm. The only thing that I didn't like was the Chain Slider so I put a T.M. Designworks Slider on.

Good deal and the first thing your going to do after the rebuild and before your first start is a Leak Down Test - It must be done

You are running way big on your mains. Such over compensation on the mains is making the bike run like it should at least at idle and some throttle. Your so big on the mains though that the bike cannot eat the kind of fuel your feeding it full on. Honestly, Have you done a leak down test on your bike ? At your elevation with pipes, pods, even +4 timing, your mains should be between 260 - 280. The leak will continue to grow and if you don't keep upping the jet's it will end up lean and then you will pay a huge price for not finding your leak or leaks. Ask around if you think I'm stroking you. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=154986 Take Care !

Poolman replied to Poolman's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
The Leak Down Tester that I am selling with the adapter will fit a 34mm Carburetor with no problem. I will correct something that I said earliar about this adapter kit fitting carbs 35mm - 41mm. After getting the Digital Caliper out and checking size of pipe diameter this would fit Carb's 32mm - 41mm. Buy with confidence, My kit will fit 34mm with ease. -

Leak Down Testers. Do You Need 1 ?
Poolman replied to Poolman's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Please Read, I have made a change to the Adapter piece to fit larger Carburetors 35mm to 41mm. This new design is much better in my oppionion. I am Happy to say that anyone who ordered in this thread will be getting this new design at the price you already paid. It's much simpler and professional looking. Ok, The Leak Down Tester for stock Carbs has not changed at all and the price will stay the same $45.00 / Shipped if you live in the USA. This is what you will get. The Price for the Adapter Kit is $27.00 if you use the Gift option in PayPal. If you do not use the Gift option Please send $27.99 This will only be of use to you if you already have the Leak Down Tester. This is what you will get. Now, If you don't have anything yet and would like the Leak Down Tester that does stock Carb's and Larger Carbs the cost is $76.00 if you use the PayPal gift option and you live in the USA. If you don't use the gift option Please send $78.81 The whole kit cost's a little more because of shipping. The Box is Bigger, still priority mail though. You will have your Leak Down Tester 3 day's Max. This is what you will get which tests all carbs and is the whole kit and kabudle. -
Leak Down Testers. Do You Need 1 ?
Poolman replied to Poolman's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Already Boxed Brother, I should have asked but I also make an adapter that works with the Leak Down Tester that you just ordered for Bigger Carbs. If you don't plan on getting larger than stock carb's you will be fine with what you ordered. -
I have made a batch of 6 Leak Down Testers. I ran this Post about a month ago and over 10 of you guy's needed 1. I am running it again for people that did not see this post or need 1 now. All my Leak Down Testers are Home made and 100% accurate. They take me approximately 1 hour to make. They are tested with 15 lbs of air for at least 1 hour. I am selling them for $45.00 / Shipped within the USA. If you live outside the USA I will still ship it to you but you pay shipping. My PayPal is - [email protected] Please send this as a gift so I see $45.00 or add $1.67 which would be a total of $46.67 If you don't send it as a gift PayPal takes out $1.66 for fee's which leaves me short to the tune of $43.34 A Leak Down Test is Invaluable. You must do it at least once to see where your engine stands. Many of you are running huge main jets to compensate for leaks. Save Gas, Fix the leaks, and reduce your main jet size. Of course do your plug chops. I sent out over 10 of these a month ago and everybody got theres. Please include Your Name and Address and they will be in the mail tomorrow and I will send you tracking information. Thanks !

I'm Bumping my own thread. I've still got a couple of things you guy's may need or be interested in. The items not marked SOLD are still available. I cannot bring myself to tossing perfectly good, usable stuff, Thanks Guy's. -
Dude, Don't call yourself a dumb-ass. The money goes into your PayPal account. You have to link your Bank's account with PayPal to either Deposit or Withdrawal money. PayPal can be abit confusing and the way they word some of there policies are not very clear and half the time still leaving you wondering how things work. I would suggest going to there website and navigate to the different areas that you have questions about. 6mil'ster answered a very good question the other day on how to get to your money faster than waiting 3-4 Business days for a withdrawal.
