  6. I have a set of 68mm 4mil cubs cylinders looking to trade for serval cylinders. I got them directly from kevin. They have a lil over a cleanup port.. I just had them replated last april. They had to be decked .028 because the top was uneven. I just run a thick gasket but you can get your domes cut to match. The right cylinder had some mild pitting in the nikasil. I have been riding them like that since the last rebuild with no problems. i'm pretty sure they can be repaired on warranty i just never got around to it. even if not they rip just the way they are. Im letting them go because i mostly trail ride. photo album here

  10. Ok so back down my timing and I'm good? I have actually been running race gas the last couple of tanks I haven't had any problems I just haven't been making it to the airport lately and we have 110 at the pump.
  11. I have read on here somewhere about the cause of the pistons breaking right at top back lip (both sides) they both chipped at the top toasted the intake exact same spot and size i read somewhere on here about reading pistons and I think it was dajogejr who explained it

The plugs look white in the pics but I promise you they are both dark brown it have been runnin more than a lil rich I have 168 main and 55 pilot my plugs had spots of ash because of the avgas so I upped the jets unaware of y they plugs were still ashy at the time and I just never dropped the jets back down after hjr told me
  13. Im not wasting a bottom end I found all the fragments and if not I have threebond to split the cases just no pistons
  14. Yeah i thinks thats what that usually means but it's never happen before I checked for air leaks no blown seals or boots I had just changed plugs before the ride so I'm thinking I just didn't tighten it well enough i only had a set of regular pliers handy

  18. i will post pics tomorrow morn i check my plugs regularly and when i pulled the head the left side was the worse( the side with the loose plug) but the plug is a nice chocolate this is the first time i ever had a plug come loose the right side looks perfect both plug and piston just a corner of the piston crown broke off. the bike has been together a month and i already put about 30hrs on it according to my trail tech this is the first problem i have had. also the first time i have ridden on a trail that slow and first time i ever pulled cranked anyone and also the first loose plug
  19. i have our last big ride next sunday and i'm almost flat broke does anybody have a good set or (1) blaster 68 piston i dont have enough for a new set and its my last ride of the year i just want to get through this last ride
  20. long story short i had to help pull crank a raptor in the woods. my temps were already creeping up in the slow trails by the time we got it cranked i looked down to see 245 degrees on the temp guage. i turned it off and let the temps drop. i then noticed my left plug was loose. i tightened it let temps drop to 175. i hit a str8 road temps started to climb again pinned in 4th gear!!! i slowed the revs and it dropped. i pulled and checked the impeller all good. tried to limp home when i felt it seize. got it home pulled the head to find to nice chocolate pistons and plugs except left side through the rings and the other side broke off on the edge. i wanna know is this all because of the over heat or do i have different problems?
