  1. thanks for pointing that out lol i was wondering when somebody would see that. 350x, i pm'd ya. i cant really use oof's
  2. wow i just read that wrong  i thought you were wanting to trade that 250r. but if you like 250r's id do it. that is a hell of a bike. depending on where you have to drive and what your bike is worth.
  3. that bike looks like it is built really good im always open to see what i could get for my banshee how much you got in the 250r what alls done to it? how much you got in it? what are you looking for? i love 250r's just cause they are such a classic. like the ole 350x's. i lov3 my banshee but im a honda lover at the bottom of my heart. i almost got a honda tattoo lmao. i was obsessed with my 350x. but really what are you looking for!? or are you just wondering what you could get?
  4. you can put t-5s on it but it will just be a waste. go to ''CHEETAH PIPES'' in this forum we talked ALOT about pipes for a cub(which is drag ported stock,so it would be the same thing pretty much as drag ported stock ones) so its the same principle. but if you want a 'sleeper'' look get you some ''UNstamped'' CPI's(it just doesnt have CPI stamped on the side).
  5. no thanks man im positive about cpi's anything else would hold my motor back. thanks anyway if your interested in them pm me an offer and ill see if i can do anything
  6. good cause i've already got 35s just need cpi's and play with my timing maybe its only +4. thanks for all the info man really appreciate it. i have a shorter swing arm than stock lol. but i wouldnt mind easin towards a drag/play bike. i like speed and power and a shee is not the best thing for trail riding anyway i wouldnt even try to get into a tight space with it mostly open roads.
  7. yal are very right...they are a nice pipe and would prob make enough to buy nice cpi's. i just figured there might be somebody who had some cpi's theyre just selling for money and they might trade cause they might can get more for these. but like you said its a slim market. but i totally agree with yal 100% just lil easier this way so i figured i'd give it a shot. thanks for the help !
  8. yes it will run but if i can make some serious horse power by just changing pipes, carbs, more timing, ect...then i would not mind making it a drag bike(or somewhat). im always looking for more power but i guess it depends on what kind of ''spread of usable power'' i would want. i want something hard to handle on the trails(almost wide open) thats what makes it fun. but i dont want a full blown drag bike i just want it could hit harder like you said. more power is never bad. your saying 35mm carbsarent big for this motor(if i had some cpi's)?thats all it takes is bigger carbs and exhaust that can make them flow? sounds simple, im sure there is more to it. that goes along with it. but what size carbs would go with what exhaust? sorry so many questions, just learning
  9. wow im prob losing more.
  10. i wish i knew more about their design, port layout, power characteristics, ect. what can be done with them, what kinda power they can make, everything pretty much. so i can think of the best setup for me and know what to do to get what kinda power. i have them so i wanna know them. i have asked this before but i just try to fully understand them and why they are what they are and how they work, what they run best like, ect ect. why they are best at wide open to 3/4 throttle. will it hurt it being detuned, why.or is it just the fact that there is so much more power there to be made, how? i know what yal are saying about detuning these motors.(look at my bike).i didnt build it but it is a 4mil cub 35mm pwk's,vforce3's,20cc domes, and pt mids. like you said these cylinders are able to make alot of power on the top end, thats what they are made for right? so having these 'mid' pipes on it is stopping it from even getting into where it is best at and makes ''its'' power. i can def tell it has alot left in it when i gotta shift cause these pipes. or something like that. but yes i get your counter point it is pointless... mine is prime example(which idk how bad it is to detune it) but i will know when i get it setup how i want it with new pipes and whatever else i can do to make it run the best for what i use it for.
  11. is this not a good trade?
  12. I really am trying to understand all this lol but man this stuff is so confusing.
  13. yea your the one who said smtn about that stuff was really good. its red it looks cool to
  14. it rides really smooth the way it is now but when the bike is just sitting there i can lift the rear end up a good bit. and it is slack in the shock when i lift up on the bike it moves a good way before it hits. just seems like that is alot of shock i could be using.
  15. i have an Elka sport and competition rear shock and im wanting to know how to set it up right for me. i want it to be setup the best it can for me. i weight about 185, i am not even sure what else matters when it comes to suspension. but i know if they are(like most things) tuned in right you can get the most out of them so im just wanting to know where im at with mine and where i should be at with it. thanks for any help
  16. i wouldnt mind having some of these lights but im wondering how much they cost. are they worth getting. do they make a big diff? wether they are good or not i like the way they look and if i can get some for what i can get for my stock lights and my billet lights then i will sell them and get me some hella's!
  17. bad ass bike. they are bad ass from the factory.
  18. it is worth taking it to a tire shop and letting them do it. i have used a vehicle and a lil car ramp just put whatever you use close to the lip of the rim, not touching it tho. and drive the vehicle up the ramp and pow. flip it over do other side. makes it pretty easy
  19. i use maxima. but sounds like you've found the best stuff, right? i think alot of it is the same it comes from the same place!
  20. ktm's are by far the nicest bikes on the market now. imo. they come from the factor built awesome. they are expensive but i'd love to have a 525. you should read mag articles about it i have and they win all of em except price! but the brakes suspension...ect. everything is built to race. the mx versions even have higher steering stems and lower seat position idk its all in the mag i got not sure which one.
  21. these pipes are in really good shape silencers and all.they have some oil spots on very inside facing motor but im sure they would polish out(which i would do before trading). no dents couple regular minor lil scratches. they are great pipes they are just holding my motor back alot. i am located in south, MS.
  22. hey man an all out drag bike might be worth more than a trail banshee. just saying. might want to look into it then seeing what they are worth then if you can get one worth more get it sell or trade it for a bad ass trail shee and money or smtn
  23. do the pipes work good? pm sent
  24. damn nice pipes.
