  1. Crank seal... not good. right plug is dark black, like that side if fooling up with back ozze. right side it like a white how do i check the pick up gap?
  2. okay did the jetting today thats all good, but now ive got some bigger issues, the bike smokes a ton out of the right cylinder and feels like its not firing on the left its not a carb issue because i switched them from right to left no difference, also not a tors issue dont have that, not spark either because i switched plug wires and no change from cylinder to cylinder. so im thinking the worst maybe a dead cylinder? i took the pipe off and looked up there the bore looks good and from what i can see of the piston it looks alright to. so im clue less. its got me stumped. Im thinking maybe not enough compression? when the bike does get running and you ring it out a bit the left side back fires and you can see flames from the back of the carb. also its pretty hard starting anyway now you know as much as me. im totally lost maybe one of you guys has an idea.
  3. alright well ill just keep them on for now and see how she runs, i will get pipes for it so thats not big deal, is a 145 a good main jet you think or im i going to lean? id rather be rich than lean.
  4. Turns out there 34 mm carbs will they not work at all with my set up? i think im gonna go buy the air screw and another 145 main and try that unless some one thinks thats not gonna work/bad idea. or should i just be looking for a set of stockers?

Okay guys thanks im think im gonna go with 145 mains and try that, and also look for an air leak, couldn't see one when i was looking at the other day but its got a dumb ass boost bottle some im sure its leaking from that where its going into the intake. how do i figure out what size of carbs i have? just measure them?

Hey guys havent been on in a long time but i just bought another banshee and i need some help, that guy had dual kenith pj's on it set up with stock pipes and aftermarket slincers, the bike didnt run worth shit, so i took the carbs apart first the one air/fuel mixture screw was missing and there is differnt jetting in both the one has a 145 main and the other has a 175 main ? that cant be right? also the piolts are diffrent couldnt make out what they where though. anyway i was just wondering what a good base line to get thing thing going would be? anyhelp would be awsome i wanna rip lol. also has no air box just k&n clamp on's -Stock pipes --K&N clamp on's -kenith PJ's -Pro desing intake and "boost bottel"

  9. 2001 rm 125 bike is clean, new top end just before winter i've put a reasonable 10 hours on it, pro-tec front and back suspension, renthal fat bars, renthal gold o-ring chain and renthal sprockets bike is super clean and a really fast 125
  10. hey guys i need some quick help, i know this is a banshee site but you guys are really helpful about everthing , anyway the way the banshee is now i have two ppl willing to trade me dirtbikes, A 2001 rm 125 and 1998 CR250R the R has a pipe and a few other things both bikes are in very good cond. but i dont know witch to go for or what would be better comin from the banshee if theres any motorcross rideers on here that can give me some advise it would really help me out. blieve me guys i would rebuild the banshee but i dont have the $$ to do it right now and im getting sick of having nothing to ride,
  11. well you see cat walking with my throttle hand is not somthing im use to, anyways guys i think i might have a guy whos gonna trade me for a 2004 yz250f what do you guys think i know its not a banshee not even a 2 stroke but its somthing to ride
  12. well guys i dont know a hole lot about the legal stuff but im gonna look into for sure, frist thing though im gonna get my banshee fixed i hate seeing it like this and im gonna start to tear it down as soon as i can. about the helmet it did its job didnt do much for the face but thats the thing about opean face ones my face hit the pole on impact causing the broken nose/ chipped tooth. i plan to get a frame and swinger and axel and start to rebuilt i'll keep you guys posted. and i am in canada so the laws here are a bit diffrent i blieve. If TAG offers me a new set of bars i can honstly say that i would not take them.
  13. I just gave them a call and got the run around they kept transfering me to diffrent sales people and then they told me that the guy in charge of that was gone till next monday.
  14. It was a town ship road, and they got be pretty good with fines , speeding, reckless driving, insurance, no plate and no registration im really thinking about sueing maybe they will aleast pay for the bike, im gonna give them a call here in a bit
  15. they did not have a cross-bar they where farily new , never rolled with them i have done jumps with them, i do ride very hard and the bumps in the dirt roads put alot of stress on everthing but i never expected that to happen it was the strangest feeling i was just winding it up i had passed the speed limit sing of 60kph and i just cracked on it started doing a wheeling and it was like my handle bar just let go i knew i was heading for the ditch. there wasent much chance of saving it i dont think being on two wheels trying to aviod crashing with the throttle pinned i do think played a big part in it. next thing i know im laying up looking at the sky.

  18. hey guys got some bad news today I was doing a 6th gear wheelie down a dirt road and the left side of my handle bar (TAG bars dont buy them) snaped off witch left me with only the right side of my bars along with my nice twist throttle that pinned wide opean, and i went into the ditch they said i flew 15 meters with the quad before hitting the telephone pole, i guess there was a big chunk out of the pole from where my rim hit it, I fractured my skull and got a concucsion and tore some ligaments in both my ankels , and broke most of my toes craked a few ribs got allot of road rash , busted my nose and took a nice chip outta one of my front teeth. im really not very happy about it i have to replace the hole frame now the front is also twisted along with the swinger and A arms being twisted. has anyone elts had issues with "TAG" handle bars? anyway to add to it i didnt have it plated or papers so i have some nice fines to pay along with some points off my licence witch isent very good cuz im 16 and insurance is gonna be a whore for my now plz no negitve coments about how im an idiot and shouldent be on the roads in the first place ive had a bad enough week

  20. UPDATE: i took the broken line to a local auto parts store, the guy there flared out the end that was fucked (for free), hooked it up, bled the breaks (gravity bled took like 15 mins) got her all working good better pressure then befor, Dont you love the easy fixes
