  3. pulgs seem to be a nice golden brown colour soo i think the jetting is good :yes: i forgot how much i loved the power of my banshee after running on one cylider, thing rips like man :beer: now all i need is some front shocks and im good to go
  4. i just rebulit the carb and wow its like night and day... it took awhile for it to burn off all the exrta gas built up in the crank but after awhile it ran amazing has twice the power it has before took her out in the snow and did a few 360's lol, andway i really appreacate ur guys help, one thing i noticed was that my left pipe got a little dis-coloured like a brownish tint (fmf fattie) not quite sure why..also what would case the right ehaust to shoot out a flame?. i am very happy with it now makes all the money i sunk into the top end worth it :thumbsup: :thumbsup: anyway i cant thank you guys enough
  5. Thanks for all the help , I did do a compression check it's good, I think I am going to try switching the carb I wanted to befor but didn't think it was possible, so after I get the rebuild kit. For the carb in and test that out see if it does anything, I guess I run tube, I took a look at the reeds but I am not sure what to look for, can you swtich the reed cages to the opposte cylnder to see if that's the issue? Sorry if there is any bad spelling I am typing on my phonne thanks agine for all the info
  6. compression is good, just did rebulid, new plugs in it, tubes, in place, cleaned the carbs agine just to make sure, how do you check the crank seals? and i am getting lots of spark,i swtiched plug wires and it doesnt do anthing, i oredered rebuild kit for the left carb i am hoping its a bad needle and seat? i started it up the other day and took it out for a little drive, the left side isent fireing at all and this black stuff shoots out the ehaust all over evething (its a pain in the ass to clean off too) (i think if this sounds right its either the reeds? or the needle and seat would that cause the issues that i am having?
  7. it doesnt really have an rpm rang ,it not a blow head gasket, and i have them in sync by eye and with a gage, i was thinkin maybe the float blows are on the rong side, is there any way to check this, and the they are very clean, another thing i was wondering is it possible to have the reed cages upside down ?
  8. i tired swtiching the wires makes not diffrance, and ive tried aleast 8 or 9 sets of plugs (br8es) and no change , i am very sure its not a spark issuse

I am having some trouble with my banshee , it has fmf fatties with power core 2's and K&N fliter with airbox snorkel removed, tors removed, with motion pro twist throttle, the right cyclnder runs fine and has lots of power, but the left side drops in and out , black unburned fuel sprays out of the left exhaust over everything. i am running 280 mains and the tube is in place , carbs are clean and the slides are in the right way, i am outta ideas with the carbs soo i am think maybe reeds? it has a fresh bore, 40. with wise co. high compression pistons, i though that would fix the problem but hasn't, any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

  18. hello, i just put a set of fmf fatties and power core two on my banshee, and also go a dyno jet kit, the kit gave me 280 mains and new needles witch i have on the forth cilp because of my elavation, anyway it idles really high i got the carbs synced by my yamaha dealer, so it should be good but its not, it runs very good somtimes but other times the left cuts out but if a do a 6 gear full throttle run the left kicks in and then it will run fine for a little while its really gettin anoying on min i have all the power and the next it run on one, it ran varry well on both before i put the pipes and kit in, what did i do rong? thanks

  21. yea hey i just saw this weird thing in , a atv catologe (ROYAL DISTRUBING) any way i was looking at there batterys, and what batterys when on bikes and there was this on of a bashee, a 1994 YFZ 350 F i didnt think there was ever a banshee with a battery , could this be a type-o or is there some rare banshee out there?---- ( http://www.royaldistributing.com/shoppingc...-2008%2F99.html ) any info????

  25. i stated all the mods, i just got fmf fattiies and k & n fliter and ramoved the snorkel for my air box, thats it, nice banshee is that an 08 i live in canada, so i know all about them, it awsome that you can still buy new here, there nothing like a brand new on eh>? lol
