I know on Sunday a bunch of us are going out but were going to leave on the quads right from house. Maybe I could find someone that will want to go to coal hill on monday...if no one wants to go maybe I'll load her up and take her out there myself. I know everyone thats coming up to my place from out of state will be leaving at some point on Monday though.
-
Coal Hill or just the coal region in general?? I may be out Monday but 100% on Sunday.
-
It is pretty quite there. My camps in Sullivan Co. but I hunt in Bradford Co. Some big bucks up there. Sunday is right around the corner....anybody else coming to the coal region to do some rippin'? On a side note....I think for the most part we are going to stick around the M.C. area (black desert, norms, moon). I think Coal Hill is going to be a cluster @#$%. With what happened on the 4th or Memorial Day weekend....there's probably going to be a million riders and a ton of cops out there....and I want to be able to drink a few gusto's and not have to worry about red n' blue.

I'm a very happy camper. The way my bike is running makes me pitch a tent. lol I hate having to worry about the stupid filter though without the air box lid...I guess i'll get over it. ...and I started it up again and I may need to take the idle down a little...it seems like it's idleing a tad too high now..
-
I have razr's on mine now...but thats what was on her when I bought it....they suck here...easy as that.
-
I meant the pilots....? I'll try that but I cleaned everything pretty well before I put the carbs back together.

Ok, I just put FMF fatty's and PC2 silencer on the shee. I jetted the main at 260 and the pilot at 25 I'm currently riding in an elevation that varies from about 1,120 ft to 1,230 ft. I have a K&N air filter FMF fatty's and PC2 silencer and no snorkel on my air box. The first ride was great. No bog what so ever, eveything responded awesome! I took it out for a quick ride yesterday and it seemed like it didn't want to idle...it would stall at a stop if I wasn't revving it. It also seemed that at 1/4 throttle it wasn't responding as well as it was the first time I took it out. Another thing is when I looked in the drip pan this morning there was some gas in there. Could this all be that I just have to adjust the air, drainage and idle screws? Or do I have to go up on the mains? I know I'm going to catch hell off everyone but I haven't had a chance to check the plugs yet..... :ermm: From the sounds of things what would you think is causing this?

Keep the votes coming guys...I appreciatie it!!

I'm trying to figure out which color will match the best. My banshee is below in sig. Thanks....your opinions a appreciated.

I'm just gunna go with the Fatty's w/ PC2's...I love the way the Toomey's look though.

Yeah, I think that's what i'm going to end up doing...

I know this thread is a few months old but I'm in the same situation. I can't decide whether I want toomey T-6's or fmf fatty's. I feel that everyone on here has there own personal preference. I do alot of everything when I ride. I've done some research and it seems like the fatty's are a better "all around" pipe. I'm not ported right now but may decide to in the future. I don't want to have to switch pipes if I do decide to port. I am getting one of the two this weekend....I'm definitly not waiting to order them online. I've been antsy to get these pipes since the day I bought it and I don't want to wait. Can I get some more opinions on this?
-
Could always come to our neck of the woods there's people always out riding.
-
Yeah I know...Sunday can't come soon enough. I'll probably jack something up re-jetting it but after a few hundred plug chops I think I'll get it right.
-
One of my friends told me he saw gas coming out of the overflow when I was riding one time but then he got on it and I saw nothing. He said he knows he saw something coming out of the tube. As stupid as this sounds...I only think it does it once and a while. I'm getting new pipes this weekend and I'll have to re-jet so I guess I'll find out then.... As for which machine the fumes are coming from...I'm 100% its the banshee. There was no smell before I got it...now I'm afaid to light a match in there. lol!

Sullivan County? My hunting camp is in Shunk. Your best bet is to google search Shamokin any where within a 15 - 20 mile radius and your in the coal region....watch out for beers falling out of the sky... It's a great place to ride.

I did a search and it seems like there are a bunch of different things that could be causing this but I figured I'd ask anyway. I have a drip pan under my banshee...not cause it constantly leaks but if it ever does it will protect the garage floor. I noticed that every once in while (not all the time) there will be some gas in the drip pan from the overflow. I normally notice it the next day after riding. I clean it out and let it sit for another day and nothing. I was thinking maybe a float sticking.....but not 100%. Another thing, I could walk into my garage after not riding at all for at a week and a half and the gas fumes are out of control. I have a 2006 Harley and a Coleman riding mower in there too but there has never been a drop of anything coming from the Harley and I haven't smelled fumes like this til the newest addition to the garage came along....the banshee. Anybody have any clue why the hell this is going on? Maybe a stupid question but if there are no leaks and everything is clean then where the hell are the fumes coming from? Oh, and I shut the gas off after every ride. Everyones opinions are greatly appreciated....

Talked to a bunch of the people who are coming up for that Sunday. I think the majority wants to stay around the Black Desert. Since we'll be closer to home and because there's going to be some less experienced riders with us. Not all the riders will want to stay out all day so when they head back to my house we could decide on whether or not we want to load up the wheeler's and head to Coal Hill. Sound good????

I know...it was a joke.
-
Get some tire balls....
-
Yeah I had to trim a little off the ones on my rear fenders...right below the seat. The graphics and seat cover came in a kit together...... Thanks bro, That list of future mods changes like the weather....I'll most likely go with a timing plate instead.

In my opinion, I would go with the stock 05'. If you want to spend money on aftermarket stuff then it will be the way YOU want it. I would much rather put money into something to make it better than to put money into something just to keep it running correctly. It will probably be a headache to get your cuz's running properly not to mention all the little stuff that may need to be done to it and that could add up quickly. Just my 2 cents....

I don't think we'll be trail riding. For the most part we'll normally stick around the desert. And If we want to go to Coal hill then we'll have to load'em up. We might go for a ride to the moon and stuff but thats not too far on trails...
-
Ha...well were packin up one of the utilities with food and beer. We're gunna start from my house but I really don't have a clue yet as to where we are going. I want to go to coal hill, this might sound stupid but I don't even know if I could get there on trails...The hunter (you know who you are) probably knows if I could. Other than coal hill we're probably going to go all over the place. I have a bunch of friends from WV coming up so I guess well go wherever..... EDIT---> Damn, looks like we posted at the same time.....what he said...^^^^
-
Yeah, I don't think you've seen it.. I haven't seen your bike either. Maybe saw you somewhere else but not out riding. I just got the banshee about a month ago...but I was out alot before I got it so I'm suprised I haven't seen yours. I think you posted in the Coal Region thread about labor day weekend but you should get out that sunday, there's gunna be a bunch of ppl coming up to ride.
