Sounds like a good deal, the cheapest I've seen new fronts with no rezzies was $700 I think, and I believe a rear is about $500. I could be wrong though. They're supposed to be the cadillacs of shocks though.

I think I've read that on here before, are they ok products?

Thank you guys for the responses. I think I'll just keep it stock crank for now. Maybe if i change the bike up in the future with a plus swinger I'll go to 4mm.

I'm still gathering parts for my rebuild and just had a question with 4mils. I've got to swap cases and was thinking since it was coming apart it would be a good time to build a 4mil. But would it be a bad idea since I will be using a -1 swingarm? I don't want to be wheelieing all the time. How big of a difference is it between stock and 4mil?

I just won a chrome Janssen -1 swingarm on ebay for $350. I was really looking for a stock length, but wanted to get my build underway. Will there be much of a difference between stock and -1 lengths? I thought I would try it out because I really wanted a roundhouse.

I know everyone says these are money pits, but I just wondered how big the pit gets lol. I just got my banshee this last summer for $2500 and so far I've spent another $2100 in upgrades/mods. I know I'm still nowhere close to having all I want for it though so the spending will continue. I would like to hear from everyone else how much you've spent on your banshee's to get them to where you want them and also if you ever regretted spending the money on it. I'm pretty sure you would not get anywhere close to what you have into it if you ever decided to sell it. So far I haven't regretted any of my spending, it's something I like. Now everyone elses turn! :beer:

The chrome is definitely cool. I wasn't tryin to knock them at all but they don't offer them in chrome anymore so I take what I can get. Glad you sold them.

I don't think my feet will ever know the difference between the chrome ones or the black ones.

I just scored some new to me parts and pumped to start my build! What I got so far, freshly PC'd frame compliments of NYUK, Wicked arms, IMS pegs off e-bay, pro design water impeller, and some really nice Works shocks from dunerman. Now I just need a good set of engine cases and trying to decide on a new swinger.

Is there an easy way to check what the jetting is at? If not could someone tell me how to and what to look for? I'm a jet engine mechanic by trade so I do have a mechanical background but this is all foreign to me.

Which is the air screw? If it's the idle screw, I've messed with that and had no results. I don't know what the jetting is at now, I bought it like this and haven't messed with it much.

When I start my bike cold I don't need to use the choke, I should have to right? Also after it's warmed up it wants to die when idleing and when it does die I have to use the throttle to get it started again. Does it sound like a jetting issue or just carb adjustment?
