Looking to trade my plus 8 arched ladder swinger for drag parts Need: 22x11x8 sls extremes 10,11 or 12 paddle spindle mount wheels same side drag pipes small flange drag axle or ???????

I have a arched ladder swinger....not chrome but it is bada$$. I am going to a plus 10 let me know if you are interested

An override will not work without the cut drum, you may want to try the shift shaft mod before changing drums if you see nothing wrong. I don't have a pic but basically you mod the shaft by cutting about.020 with a die grinder off the area where the little stop pin hits the inside of the bracket thats welded on the end of the shift shaft(under the clutch cover). Just mod the side that contacts on an up shift. Hope thats helps

If your certain its not internal then check your grounds and make sure the slides in the carbs are opening and closing together.

It said right in the very first post that he wouldn't part it out untill the motor was sold

its the stock kicker shaft that goes under the cover not the actual kicker itself but yea original.

Nice used set of engine cases. I was told they were from a 2000. The cases are in perfect shape other than the inside of one side where a bad rod bearing caused the rod to lightly rub the inside of the case. It does not have a groove just a little rough. All studs and threads look great, I will include the nuts and bolts that hold the case halfs together. Anyone want pics ust let me know...........Location: Muskegon,MI........... You need 1 gear from both shafts then?? Or the slider and the gear it locks in to?? I just pulled 6th from my trans when I turned it into a 2-5 override so I have one of the gears you need......$15.00 shipped

X2 no way that will still be true after you pound it back in, at the very least you would need to press it back in and check the linear dimentions and true it in. Of coarse having it welded is probably in your best interest also.
