The steering loop Is my main concern(has been bent once or twice already) but I'm think about stripping the frame down for powder coating and just don't want forget to do something i should of done first before coating. I'm looking for the banshee frame weak spot so i can fix them first. thanks Jbones.

Nobody has any pics of there frames on mx race shees ? Besides wacko thanks wacko. Just looking for a couple of ideas to see how others have built there banshees for racing and abuse. Thanks Jbones.

I asked dmc got know response. I need pics of some mx shee frames gusseted. I flipped my shee ice racing bent the top loop where the stem bolts up,and broke my axle in half. I want to make my shee be able to take some abuse for racing and crashing.Any help much appreciated thanks Jbones.

I was wondering if anybody could HELP me find the thread on putting frame gussets in the shee to make it stronger .Thanks Jbones.

I fliped mine front and backs to ice race this year with no problems. Check my pic in the gallery. Gained about inch and half per side.I put the vavle stem in backwards and drilled new hole in the fronts no problems.

I was wondering who makes the best foot pegs and heel guards for the banshee. That is still available today.I like the ims roll design but can't find anyone that sells them. Any info will be much appreciated thanks. Jbones.

I tried that once it lasted about a day,then blew out.Best way is to split the case and do it right.Good luck.

Try the leakdown test under repairs and mods.

I'm thinking electrical cdi.Mine had similar problem 87 shee to . I changed the jets like a hundred times still acted the same. was driving me crazy changed the cdi and runs great now.Try changing your cdi with a buddys cdi if they have shee but i think theres has to be between 87 and 95 for same wiring harness so it will plug right in before u buy one.Also test the stator good luck.

whats she look like under the cover? ckeck the gap on the pickup coil,clean it see if makes uh diffrence.

Could be gas in the trans dose the oil smell gasy? U should pressure test it.I think there's a thread on how to pressure test your motor on here somewhere use the search. Not to sure how to explain it to u.Clean the insides of your pipes and bafflers and repack.If it runs good keep the oil and air fliter clean and carbs in sync and uh chain adjusted and ride it and have fun.

What pipes u got? Sounds like could be head gasket or crank seal.But if it was it won't run that great,or dirty pipe that had a crank seal go and filled the pipe with oil. hows the tranny fluid look and antifreeze all up to level and clean ? Take video and post it idling and couple revs.

what are your mods?Is it fouling the plug on the smoking side? Sounds like tranny side crank seal sucking tranny fluid.

Thanks for the pic and info . nothing worst then missing shifts.I plan on picking up a modded star and pro shift kit. What dose the the modded shifter shaft do compared to stock ?

Where can i find pics & specs of modded shifter shaft ?
