  1. Because if rain coming in, the race is gonna be moved to next weekend, October 30th. Same times and everything.
  2. Polk County Speedway is running quads for the first time this weekend, October 23. Classes are 350 and under and 400 and up. 100% payback. Pit passes are 15$, entry fees are 20$, general admission is 5$. Gates open at 10:00 that morning, hot laps start at noon. This is a 1/6 mile clay track just south of Bolivar. Knobby tires are ok as long as they are wore down to a quarter of an inch or less. It should be a lot of fun and we are expecting quite a few there. You can see pictures of the track at Polkcountyspeedway.com Come join in the fun.
  3. what would you guys think about flipping the front wheels and drilling a new hole for the valve stem on the opposite side for some extra width? would the wheel still be strong enough also? and if so how would you recommend covering the old valve stem hole?
  4. ive never bought anything off of these forums or from an individual on the internet so i have no idea as to how to go about doing that. i would like the durablue, so do i email you or call you or do i need your adress or what? i know i orobably sound stupid but i just dont know.
  5. troy i might be interested in those. would you mind posting some pics of both of them? thats a great price.
  6. i also meant to ask, the tracks where i race most has jumps in it. will it be ok to jump with a sway bar?
  7. i have alba +2 a arms and i dont have any experience using sway bars, and i would like to know whether a sway bar can be used with my a arms, and if so, which sway bars are better? i would also like to find one a little cheaper im kinda tight on money right now
  8. how hard would it be to take the spring off the r6 shock and put it on my stock shock? it would work just fine wouldnt it? i jus spent $1500 on a complete overhaul of the motor so im short on money for a little bit and that would save me from buyin a new shock or a lowering block
  9. so i got an r6 shock off ebay, and i drilled out the top bushing so the stock shock bolt would fit and that worked fine, but the bottom didnt have the outside rings on the eye of the shock. i figured i would just takr the ones off the stock banshee shock and put those on the r6 shock, but the eye of the r6 shock is way wider than the eye of the banshee shock. so it wouldnt fit with both of the outside rings on it. so i just put one of them on it snd bolted it up thinking it would be fine. it was fine for a few rides, but then one time i was jus ridin a circle track at my house and the eye of the shock broke off of the rest of the schock, do you think this was caused by the use of only one outer ring? i am trying to figure out why it did this before i invest in another shock
  10. ok well the right cylinder gave out so i ended up boring it .60 over, i ported it, polished it, and put wiseco pistons in it. i put that r6 shock on the back, but the eye of the shock broke off the rest of the shock just during normal riding. i have no idea why it did this? i guess i'll just buy another one. i got a stock swingarm for free so i guess i'll chop it. i have no better use for it haha. what length should i chop it you guys think? i'll be mostly racin at the tt track in ava missouri, maybe midway speedway in lebanon, and maybe a few other ovals, and atv rodeos
  11. ok i drilled out the top bushing and that fits fine, but the lower had no bushings in it, jus the eye of the shock. i am not sure what to do here. i figures taking the outside rings off the stock banshee shock and putting them on the r6 shock would be fine, but the eye of the r6 shock is wider than the eye of the banshee shock, so if i put both the outside rings on the r6 shock, it is too wide to fit in the linkage, only one will fit. im basically stuck now with no idea what to do. any ideas?
  12. ok i just purchased an R6 shock off ebay. i am gonna get front lowering kits soon. the crj front lowering kits wont work for mine since i have the alba a arms. i think i am gonna get a set of crj spacers just for the back. the R6 shock should be here in 3-5 days i will try to post a pic of it after i get that on there. and thanks for all the help everybody
  13. Oh ok. Well I read on another forum that some people leave the front end high for better traction? I can't remember what topic it was though.
  14. I don't think I can afford new wheels right now. And what did you do to lower your fronts? Is there any way to just adjust my stock shocks to lower it?
