  1. The brass bushings wear out the inner sleeves faster.
  2. Why not use an oversized sprocket? That way you have the teeth to help get over things like logs.
  3. So, its not electrical, its not reeds, its not carbs because you traded those out. Whats left? You said that TORS are still on the machine. Are they working properly? Are cables in good order? What about the choke tube between the carbs?
  4. Try crossing the plug wires. If the miss switches sides then you know its electrical. If it does not then I would check carbs.
  5. Has anyone tried taking off the inner seals on axle bearings and filling the carrier with gear lube like a truck axle?
  6. I got rid of everything extra on my 95. Just enough to run. I even got rid of the regulator. Just take your time with the harness and start taking out what you don't need. If you are not using lights you don't even need to hook up the two wires coming from your stator. The only switch I have left is the key switch.
  7. I run the same oil and both ratios are ok. Just remember that if you go from 40/1 to 32/1 it will lean out your air/fuel ratio so jet accordingly.
  8. Look at gas consumption as well. The 2 into 1 pipes use more gas because they are not as efficient.
  9. Where is the science? The whole purpose of an expansion chamber is to tune the pressure waves going out of the cylinder. That is why there are high, mid, and low range pipes. They are tuned for different RPM ranges. A "2 into 1" pipe would have two sets of waves conflicting with each other. They have no real "hit", but a nice even pull through the RPM's. Also, in my opinion, they are the best sounding pipe out there. When you here one in the woods it sounds like an indy car rippin' up the hills.
