  3. Hi guys...haven't rode for a long time..about 7 or 8 months, have been starting it up every so often. Now it will only run with the choke on....cleaned out my carbs and tried it again same thing. I'm going to get fresh race fuel tomorrow so do you guys think it could be just old gas? Tony
  4. Can someone please post a pic of there flywheel from the side view.....I changed my timing and im not sure if it is on all the way....when the notch "where the thickness is a business card" area comes around to the magnet the magnet is on the outer edge of the notch. If that makes any sense?? Thanks Tony
  5. Can someone post a pic of there a arms installed. Dumb question does the bend in the top portion of the a arm face back or front?
  6. Hey thanks The left plug in the bottom pic I did not cut down far enough with my dremel and I hit it with the blade and tried to wipe it off, that is why the entire white part looks colored.
  7. Air screws 1 1/2 turns out. I will try a longer wot. Thanks Josh
  8. Thank man..... Maybe that's what's happening to me? It runs good with the 162's and worse with the 165's Was also wondering could the type of oil you run affect the color of your ring? I run Bel Ray H1R and it is Light orange in color.
  9. Are dyno's ever wrong? The place I went to just got thee dyno In February so maybe he didn't know what he was doing. He did say that race Gas messes up his senors.
  10. I ran through all 6 gears and stayed in sixth for maybe 3 to 5 seconds, maybe I did not run long enough?.....As for the pilot I had it on a dyno and according to the machine my low end was too lean "52 pilot at the time" so I bumped it up to a 58 and still low end bog. It showed my top end was way rich "had a 175 in a the time" I would drop a size and try it and when I got to a 162 the top end ran great, so did the plug chop and it looked lean to me, so went back up and when you get to the top it feels like it wants to fall on its face sometimes. Before I had my case ported I ran a 155 main...45 pilot...cel on 4th clip...Would just porting the cases changed your jetting that much? Also at the time of the dyno I had DGH needles "Or DGK whatwhatever they are" in and clip was in bottom position so I changed them back to my cel in 4th position
  11. I just changed my main to a 162....pilot is 58...cel needle 4th clip...I did 2 plug chops.....I wasn't sure if it was too lean so I went back up a size on the main. Ran great on the top end with the 162 but I got my slight bog back on the top end when I put the 165 back in. I still have a bog on my low end also. Also before I did the plug chops my original plugs were dark brown and slightly wet. 1st 2nd
  12. I was wondering what other brands of spark plugs will work in a banshee? I want to do a plug chop while I have a place to do it "inlaws house in the country". Not really any places to get plugs except Walmart. Thanks
  13. I got my bike back from have a few things done and the cases porter and He rejetted it with 55 pilots DGH needles and 175 main. He jetted it rich due to the weather being cold. So I had a bog on the low end so I went down to a 52 pilot. I recently put it on a dyno and it showed that the pilot was lean and the needle was better and the main was way rich. So I originaly had a 45 pilot, Cel needle 4th clip and 155 main. I dropped the main down to a 165 and the pilot up to a 58 and it still has a bog on the low end to me and bog on top end, my plugs still look dark brown. So what I am feeling on the lowend goes against what the dyno says. I want to go smaller on my pilot. Any help would be great.

  15. I just switched my front sprocket to a 15 and my rear to a 40. I ordered a 104 link chain and when I put it on to get all the slack out my adjusters are almost all the way screwed in...maybe 4 threads left..but if I remove 1 link it is too short. So can you buy extra long adjusting bolts so if I need to adjust it later from stretch.
  16. The pilot jet is located next to the main...the entire bottom of the carb has to be removed "the 4 screws" it is up in a hole you will need a small screwdriver to remove
  17. Does anybody know the size of the front sprocket nut off hand? I'm at work and don't have my manuel.
  18. Yes true and welded crank....elevation is 550ft
  19. Hi.....Just have a quick question on compression. My current compression is 175..I run 110 octane and 20cc domes so my question is by going down in size how much more power can I achieve without going to much with the mods I have.
  20. Just got my bike back from Jeff on Saturday and just wanted to say his work and service is top notch. The ride over to his shop was well worth it in my opinion just to know that it was fixed and put back together right. He kept me posted on where he was at with my bike and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need "IN FACT HE TALKED ME OUT OF A FEW THINGS" great guy to talk to on the phone also...So if anyone needs there bike fixed and dont want to or have the time take it to FAST RACING. Hope to riding sometime. Tony
  21. Well a friend of mine decided to try and start my bike...he said it kicked over several times then it just stopped in mid kick. I can get it to go all the way down but I have to push it down and then back up several times and each time it goes down lower until it it all the way down...if that makes sense. Also when I put it in gear and hold the clutch in it wont roll...it rolls fine in neutral. Just wanted some ideas of what is wrong before I open her back up. Hopefully it is just the gear slipped off.
