i mainly use degreaser and power washer. but, after polishing and clean plastics, this shit is amazing! its shines and cleans the plastics like armor all, dries as a clear coat that helps protect the plastics/ polished surfaces, and it helps dirt not stick to the plastics. its great for after you polish your bike and get it looking great, it makes it stay like that to an extent and gives it a wet or "glossy" look. its awesome. we use it on all the offroad vehicles at the motorcycle shop i work at! http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/5/18/176/12490/ITEM/Maxima-SC1-Silicone-Detailer.aspx
