  1. On the rz the power kick is right after 6 grand, around 6100 RPM. From 6100 to 9000 the bike is putting out its biggest kick in the pants. Fourth and fifth gears at 6500 RPM is a lot of fun on the RZ. The bike will top out around 115. The biggest power kick is from 6100 to 7000 and then another smaller power surge from 8000 to 9000. Near redline and she's screaming pretty good, I rarely hit redline, I rarely hit 9000. So when you guys are railing around on the banshee, and the powerband kicks in and your over half throttle, you can figure your RPM's somewhere around 6100  .
  2. How bout an RZ tach ! 9500 is the redline on the RZ.
  3. jesus christ he's ripped . Musta been workin' out on his Bowflexx  :ermm: . The "holy Bowflexx" ....
  4. The aluminum tank supposedly holds 6 gallons. I havent verified it, but it looks big enough to hold 6. The tank is a "lance schoonmaker" and is the same tank as Dean Sundahl ran (not literally Dean's tank  ) on his Baja banshees.

Spiders are the only brand i'll use. I love em and think they feel great. Iv even have a set on my Rz.
  6. I have a Raptor shorty clutch lever on my banshee and an ASV on my 250r and I like the Raptor better. the asv looks a hellava lot better than the raptor, I just don't like the position of the asv lever in relation to the handlebars.
  7. $16 bucks and hour makes a pretty good livin around these parts..... jed

  13. have a happy birthday....
  14. Matt Smiley finished 5th overall last season, which was his first season with Polaris, this year he's currently in 17th overall. Smiley never won the GNCC Pro class championship. I ran a state hare scramble with Mr. Smiley last year and he passed me on his Pred like I was standing still. And Borich was so fast he almost lapped Smiley !!
  15. heavy weight...... in stock form. Replace stock stuff.... with aftermarket stuff.... and instantly lose weight. Where the 450 racers are a sleek 350ish lbs, they will have trouble shedding pounds, while the heavier Outlaw stands a better chance at relativily losing more weight than a 450 could. Percentage wise. I just witnessed two Outlaws racing the 6-hour race I went to a few weeks ago. They both finished. Didn't break em.
  16. ya, they're more comparable with Raptors and not the 450 racers. I think I'd take one of those ugly 525 Outlaws over a new 700 Raptor  maybe :baseball_whistle:
  17. Successful racers racing the GNCC with the Outlaw... Super Senior (50+) John Gallagher, nine 1st place finishes and one second place finish. Women Stephanie Parton, currently in second place overall behind Traci Cecco. Traci allready has the class won, and Step Parton and Angel Atwell are battling for the second place plate. 4 Stroke Stock A/B Todd Rothermel has this class wrapped up. First place overall in this highly competitive class. John Gallagher Sr and Stephanie Parton always finish amung the top 10 racers in the morning race. They're both beatin' 200+ racers at every GNCC on thier Outlaws. Steph is faster than John Sr and she's had the Outlaw on the morning overall podium a few times. These Outlaws are ugly..... but they're not doin' to bad in the GNCC's this year. On the other hand, the only Pro racer riding a Polaris is Matt Smiley and he's having the worse season of his career. Started the season racing an Outlaw, but switched back to a Predator early in the season. Matt's currently in 17th place overall. He's been a top 5 Pro racer forever.... until this year

  22. after 6 hours of racing, we beat the only other Ute team by only 14 seconds :baseball_shocked: . http://atvscene.com/race-reports/other/6hoursofnh-06.html# Only two teams were present, but this race was one of the most talked about in the pits. Our own Lance Schwartz and his teammates Dave Porzi and George Richards of TPC Power Center debuted ATV Scene's upcoming Suzuki King Quad project. Meanwhile, on another King Quad, was Team ATV Innovations with the Quadfather himself, Markus Markow on board. Chris Maher and Glenn Schlude also manhandled the big red King. After major suspension adjustments and a broken pipe TPC Power Center needed to make up about eight minutes with only an hour to go if they wanted to claim the inaugural Maxxis 6 Hours of New England. With only minutes to go the pass was made and victory was had. In the end only fourteen second separated the two after six hours of racing. How's that for a duel to the finish? The two teams had major respect for one another and look forward to the day when more utility ATVs show up to make it all the more fun.
  23. All kindsa computer troubles here, this is the first time I'v been back online since Monday'ish. It's late, so I'll keep this short. I'll hook you guys up with some video asap. Im still learning how to use my new camera, its a DVD camcorder and there's alot of shit involved trying to get files off the disc and edited and still keep the file sizes small. With all the computer troubles I'v had this week, I really havent had any time to play with the camcorder, but I did get the video off the DVD disc and into my computer. Gimme a few days to figure out how to edit the video's and I'll post some clips.
