  1. yikes !, i havent heard of them rods breaking like the other ones. i say talk to ya builder, work it out. let him ask some question. how long did it take to break ?
  2. talk to them. post karnage pix.
  3. well its not wang then. wang is bronze rod with 29/lr on the rod something is up.
  4. strip it, throw up pix. was def a bronze rod crank ?
  5. 650 is not a bad price for everything, being round house. as said, they all gonna be that price, unless they are a poorer product.
  6. i wouldnt worry about the override then, they more for drag. even tho people say "nah nah nah i trail mine" you gota learn how to use an override or you break yo trans down shifting or back loading the trans. whos the swing arm from ? is it a round house style ? if ya on a tight budget, you could hold off on carbs if you wanted, and run the stockers for now.
  7. youre going to get all that at once ? why an over ride are you racing ?
  8. Man. It's just a bike, not a life decision. Haha. What do you even wanna do with it. Servals are pretty lazy, with stock timings. Shearer, tm 34, ported, +4 swinger. Maybe 22cc domes. Pump fuel.
  9. over 150 would be a mix of 93/avgas or 91/and some VP. depends how much over 150. i think im around 150 and running pump fuel. but around 12.6:1 comp i dont run any + ignition advance tho
  10. CHEERS JD !!!!
  11. any vids of it/them ?
  12. That 98Ron is like your US 93-94.
  13. so hes gonna port his 421 cub to 188/130 he must be pretty good.
  14. i made little threaded spacers up from a bolt and cut slots in them for a flat head screwdriver. gives the stud something to bottom out on.
  15. you can find out if it is a serval by looking into one of the intake ports, there will be a SC marking on the roof of one, if its a serval.
  16. yeh bigger bore and stroke, with aftermarket cylinders and stroker cranks. cub cylinders go from 64mm-68mm and super cub are 72mm. and there is 2 different cub cylinders you can get, cheetah cub (strong mid and top end better for racing) or serval cub that has strong low and okay mid (tame, but can be ported for good gains.nice and torquey tho) biggest stroke you can go without case work is +4mm. as tricked said, bigger motor doesnt have to try as hard so you can run pump fuel. and if you ever want more power, there is alot waiting to be extracted from this setup.
  17. for that power on the streets, id build a bigger motor. something you dont have to thrash the guts out of to keep up with traffic or have fun on. bigger motor will pull through gears better and you wont have to down shift all the time.
  18. running em in my 421, but thats because its how it comes in the kit. blaster piston has different squish band angle/size. you wouldnt use them in a stock cylinder unless ya builder setup ya motor for it. i think the smallest a blaster comes in, is 66mm.
  19. long rods were used to give the piston/rod a greater dwell time at TDC/BDC so the piston has a longer transition from upstroke to down stroke. meaning less load/stress on the piston and bore. pro is long rond con is short rod.
  20. there is wiseco pistons for long and short rod pistons 795 is a long rod piston. 513 for short rod piston 573 is blaster piston for banshee for long rod crank. haah re read post. no you cant add long rods without removing the crank.
  21. whats your setup, what jets you running. ?
