I took my banshee apart in the winter and the voltage regulator was lost. I didn't put my lights back on either. If I hook them up without a voltage regultor will they just blow? Im thinking about getting some 50wat fog lights from walmart. Will the stator push enough to blow those?

I dont know I dont have the attention spam to clean clean clean. I ride and put it up dirty. Ride again...repeat....I will try to take good care of the pipes tho

T-shee felt sorry for my ratty bike and gave me the plastics and seat. Dragbanshee, your got your 916's yet? I'm a little worried. I can barley see daylight between the headpipe and coolant hose. I guess the are made that way?

Was bsing with a guy who restores tractors a few days ago who turned me on to this stuff called Oxalic acid. He says its really old school, noone uses it anymore other than old timers. It's marketed as wood bleech. Any good hardware store should have it. Its about $5 bucks for a gallon and you need a couple cups max diluted in water. My results are not they best. I tried to wetsand with 500 grit and hazed one of my pipes pretty good. Tried to get the best before and after shots I could. I filled a 30gal trash can 1/2 with water. 4 cups of wood bleech, and 6 hour soak. The old timer told me to let it set for a few days, I wanted to get my shit put together tonight. Results are pretty good. I was very impressed. Before: After: High heat thermal compound is still on there because the very tips were not submerged. Be careful with this shit. If its not dilitued it will burn like twice as bad as aircraft remover. If anyone else uses it let me know how it goes.

Justin buck ment the dragging event, not drag racing all together. They have a track ofcourse we will be drag racing. We dragged at attica with no track; somewhat up hill, starting points were not level, really rutty, no definate end to the race. With the track a lots of dragging will take place. What about everyone camping near that busted ass concrete building type thing when you first come in. It wont be very dusty there....plenty of room, easy to find. Id like to camp off the firetrail but I hear thats where shit gets stolen. Ive seen my share stuck back their to.

So its last September local grocery store parking lot. About 9:30 pm just crusin making my rounds. I see this older looking hippy couple standout outside their van. I drive closer to see whats up. As I get about 30 40 yards away the dude is waiving me in. "Excuse me I locked my keys in the van can you help" Its like a full size ecoline. A pain in the ass to get in. The set up really high, no pop up locks on this one...you have to do it all by feel. I run the guys plate through New Mexico, registration matchs up with his ID. As soon as a step on the running board I notice a baby food jar 1/2 full of shake just setting in the driverside seat. I figured first things first and just keep on trying to pop the lock, never letting on I see any weed. I keep trying and keep bullshit with the old man and women for about 20 minutes. I almost get in a few times but the over and under tool slips off. Through conversation they tell me they are some type of full blooded native americans. Heading to MI for some type of convention. I ask if they smoke marijuana. They said yea. Its not an enforcement issue on their reservation. Not legal, but so many problems with alcohol they are pretty much left alone. I eventually end up getting the lock popped. I picked up the baby food jar and asked why what was he thinking. He said he smoked what was in the jar, got hungry and went to pick up peanut butter and jelly, for sandwiches. The jar rolled out onto the running board when he got out, didnt think he would lock his keys in the car so he just sat it on the seat. Its ends up being about 4 grams of shake, rest of the vehicle is clean. I write the dude ticket and send him on his way. Ive done 100 locks. Never would I have thought I would get a drug arrest out of any of them.
