3. I don't know if you realize it, but the stage 4 elkas for the banshee can be had NEW for $1495 shipped. I'm interested in the a-arms, front brake lines, and tie rods. PM me a price for those items if you are interested in selling them without the spindles and hubs. Thanks.
4. Nastyracing, I will PM you as soon as I secure some a arms.
5. Who makes those A-arms? Are they heim or ball joints? Also, what weight are the shocks valved for? Thanks
6. Need some +2+1 arms...no YFZ 450 arms. Also looking for some stainless steel extended brake lines and aftermarket shocks if the price is right. Let me know what ya got. Thanks
7. I live in Memphis. If someone gets serious about striking A deal, I would be happy to go look it over. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I would be a good set of eyes.
8. Interested in the fronts if you will separate and depending on rider weight they are setup up for.
9. Hey do you still have those a-arms up for sale?

10. I need a new stock rear shock in excellent condition. Polished would be even better. Let me know what ya got! Thanks
11. Would you consider selling them separate? Sounds like you have interested buyers lined up for the shocks and the arms..
12. Well, I ended up ordering some 48 pilots and 150, 152, and 155 mains for tuning. We'll see where it goes. Thanks for the recommendations guys! Hobbs
13. Hello Perhaps someone can help me with my jetting on a fresh rebuild. THE BACKGROUND: On the previous rebuild, I melted the piston on the right cylinder on a long pull down a gravel road. I believe the gas cap vent cap was not allowing enough air into the tank and consequently, not enough fuel into the carbs. The quad was purchased from an individual who lived and rode roughly 500 ft. above sea level Anyway, I want to eliminate any other possibilities so I need some expert advice on my current jetting. Here is my setup: .100 overbore with aggressive MX port by Jeff at FAST. Cool head with 21cc domes Chariot reed cages with Boyesen power reeds stock rubber intakes w/crossover tube PWK 28mm carbs with 148 mains and unmarked pilots Toomey T5 pipes and silencers K&N air filter with outerwear, no lid, and adapter to feed 2 carbs Elevation is 250 ft. above sea level Riding temp is generally 80 degrees F I did a leakdown test today and had I went from 6 psi to 5.5 psi in 6 minutes. spraying soapy water didn't reveal any leaks on the tester or the motor. (Does this sound acceptable?) Is there a way to mic a pilot jet to determine it's size? I have been looking for info but unable to find a diagram that explains jet sizing relative to i.d. Please shoot me some ideas about where I need to be with jetting. Also needle position and air screw position would be helpful too. Thanks in advance Hobbs
14. Are the a-arms stock? Also, do you have a front bumper available?
15. The silicone plug and cap kits are very helpful for keeping the powder out of threaded holes and off threaded bolts. Also, Brian at Columbia Coatings is very helpful if you have technical questions. I order from him regularly. Powder will melt and "telegraph" whatever is under the finished coat, so make sure you get any casting flash or blemishes sanded flush before you shoot. If you decide to media blast, do NOT use glass bead. It can get trapped in the material and pop out during the curing process, producing a small unsightly crater. If I were you, I would practice on some scrap pieces first to get a feel for how the powder "feels" coming out of the gun and loading on the surface. Much better than shooting your cases and having to strip them back down if you don't like the finish. It's similar to auto painting in that if you apply too much OR too little, the finish won't be acceptable. You can't just reapply another coat and fix the problems from the first coat. Spray in the cleanest environment you can find. You won't believe how far dust will travel to find your part. Have fun and show us how it comes out!!!
