When the circuit is open, there is still spark, but it isnt enough for the bike to run!! Ground the red/black wire and compare the spark to when it is open and I think you will see what I am saying!!

Im pretty sure that the red/black and the black wire you are refering to go to the key switch. When the red/black is grounded you will have spark (on) and when it is open, you will have occasional spark but not enough to run (off)!! I would connect the two and use the ON/OFF switch on the your left thumb, but that is just my .02!!

1 bearing under the nut and a seal on top and bottom. There is a spacer that fits inside the bottom seal around the base of the stem if I remember correctly!

I spoke with Andy this morning and he asked me to put up this post since he is busy with storm clean up in NE oklahoma. The recent tornadoes devestated many small communities as well as large cities over the weekend. Andy and his family are well equiped with the tools necessary for storm clean up, so they are helping out within their community as well as others. Please be patient as he will be back in the shop as soon as he can. Tenative schedule looks like he will be out for today, 5/23 and tomorrow 5/24. Thanks, Zac
